23.01.2022 Cyanotypes Workshop with Dan Hillier Saturday 4th April 12.30pm to approx. 4pm ... $10.00pp Workshop is available to Redlands Camera Club members only. Why Try Cyanotypes? Because making cyanotypes is fun! It is easy to do and the prints can rival those of other methods. And, everyone knows that Blue is the best colour. It is a historic process, discovered in 1842. Learning how to make a cyanotype will open up a whole new world of alternative print making processes that all rely on the same general steps. During the workshop Well demonstrate the entire cyanotype process, including the chemistry involved and taking you through the various stages from generating a digital negative for your photo to producing your own cyanotype prints. It is anticipated that each participant will leave the workshop with 6 to 8 prints of their own images. And if you dont agree that blue is the best colour, well also demonstrate ways to tone your print to a different colour! For more information visit; http://www.redlandscameraclub.org.au/WhatsOn.html
