15.01.2022 Another great Probus event is Sailing on Moreton Bay. Last Wednesday 13th February, we set sail on Gordon Somes' Sailing Catamaran, leaving Raby Bay at around 9.30 am heading for Horseshoe Bay, Peel Island. The forcast for the day was hot with light breezes. Terry Murray took the helm and navigated the Big Cat through the Channel to arrive safely at our destination. Some of the fellows went for a dip in the warm waters of Horseshoe Bay. After a great Lunch and some relaxation, we up anchored and headed back to Cleveland. After leaving the Shelter of Peel Island, we experienced rough seas and strong winds on the way back to Cleveland and Raby Bay, returning to the dock after having an absolutely marvellous day.
