04.01.2022 Our friends at Deathrow need help. I have personally known Kate for over 15years and we have supported her sanctuary, Deathrow Unchained Animal Rescue since it started. Kate began to have the development application processed when they moved in, however for the last few years it sat idle. Brisbane City Council have just last week contacted Deathrow and given them 14days to pay $45,000 or or move out. Deathrow Unchained does so much work for not only animals, but also people with trauma, abuse and mental health issues. Please pop over to their page and give them some support. They are all volunteers and all the money they raise goes back into the organisation. Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner has called for an urgent review so hopefully they can have the application fee waived.
