23.01.2022 Yesterday I was lucky enough to go to "A Day on the Green" with Simply Red. Whilst Simply Red were outstanding, the artist of the night for me was Tina Arena. Her voice is beautiful. At Redlands Singing we offer lessons to both pre school and school aged children who are wanting to learn how to sing correctly in a relaxed environment. We are not an exam based studio and we embrace individuality and your personal choices of the songs that you want to sing. We offer a positive and nurturing environment for young singers of all ages. ... We can help find backing tracks and even transpose them into a different key, which may be more suitable for your voice. All backing tracks are put onto a USB which you can take home each week to practice with. We do not audition students - everyone is welcome. Individual weekly lessons are $30 for half an hour. 04.01.2022 Do you have a favourite musical? Next week I'm off to see The Sound of Music at QPAC with my kids. I grew up on it and so have they. It's definitely one of the family favourites! I've done the whole dressing up thing with a Sing a Long version and my middle daughter took the part of Gretl many many years ago in an amateur production in Sydney

02.01.2022 Interesting musical fact: "Through-composed" music is a vocal/choral composition in which there is little or no repetition in the musical structure i.e. where the composition is not structured as verse / chorus.
