23.01.2022 Today we farewelled the great Brett Austin. Such a fitting tribute held in the goal mouth of Brett’s pride and joy - Field 1. Our home team Dugout will be formally known as the Brett Austin Dugout, immortalizing him forever more. Brett was a great clubman with over 20 years dedication and service to not only the ongoing operation of the club, but every blade of grass, every team, every player and every fixture. He is sadly missed, but will never be forgotten. To the Austin Family - Liz, Marcus, Keely, and Lucas our hearts are with you today and always. RIP.

22.01.2022 Joel D’Cruz re-signs for Red Devils Redlands United FC is pleased to announce that Joel D’Cruz has re-signed for Redlands United for the 2021 season. The 19 year old goalkeeper debuted for Redlands in 2019 and has made 45 first team appearances for the Red Devils. ... On his re-signing D’Cruz commented, For the past 5 years I’ve been given every opportunity to develop and grow as a player here at Redlands. It was an easy decision to re-sign and I’m really excited to build on the season past and representing the tight knit community here at the club. Redlands United’s NPL Head Coach Richard Greer is thrilled to have the young custodian committed to the Red Devils for 2021 and commented, I am excited to welcome Joel back to Redlands in 2021. Joel played a massive part in helping the club achieve NPL status last season. He is another example of a Redlands junior progressing through to the first team. Something I want to encourage within the Football Club. I look forward to seeing Joel in goals next season and hopefully keeping some clean sheets. Welcome back to the Red Devils Joel. 21.01.2022 Redlands United FC is pleased to announce that Sam Langley has returned to Redlands United for the 2021 NPL season. The 23 year old Redlands Junior has returned from stints with Wolves FC and Capalaba FC. Langley had previously played 75 senior games for the Red Devils, scoring one goal. Sam was a member of the Club’s NPL Championship winning side of 2016. He made his 1st team debut at the age of 16. On his decision to return to Redlands Langley commented, Excited to ...be back at my home ground where I grew up and achieved a lot of great things! Excited to do it all again and start working hard with this team. I am also really looking forward to working with Richard and Anno.. NPL Head Coach Richard Greer is excited to have Langley back at Redlands and commented, I am delighted to welcome Sam back to Redlands United Football Club. Sam is Redlands junior that went on to play a major part in some of the clubs recent success. He has played a large number of games in the NPL and brings a wealth of experience. He is a combative midfielder with a great passing range. I look forward to seeing Sam in a Reds shirt again. Welcome back to the Red Devils Sam. C’mon You Reds!!!!

19.01.2022 Ryo Emoto re-signs for Red Devils Redlands United FC is pleased to announce that Ryo Emoto has re-signed to the Red Devils for the 2021 season. Emoto joined the Red Devils during 2020 and quickly established himself as a key midfield component at Redlands. ... He made 16 appearances for the Red Devils scoring twice. On his re-signing Emoto commented, I am excited to stay at Redlands next season. This is because everyone at the Football Club was a close group that will be united and work hard for each other like last season. It leads us in to next season and I will be working hard to help the club be successful. On Emoto’s signing, Redlands United’s NPL Head Coach Richard Greer commented, I am excited to have Ryo back at Redlands for season 2021. Ryo is a player with great potential. He is very good technically and can cause opposing teams a lot of problems. Ryo is smart and very creative in attacking areas and I look forward to seeing this for us next season. 05.01.2022 A couple of spots left for this event! December 5th! TEAM REGISTRATION NOW OPEN 16 team main tournament ... NEW 8 team over 35’s section No virus was going to stop our favourite day of the year! With the Brisbane leagues not ending until late November however it has pushed the date back so this year’s tournament will be on December 5th. Redlands United FC will again be our hosts and although we usually switch up the charity every year we decided to give the lovely people at the Brisbane Paralympic Football Program another year as our chosen charity. After years of being asked we have decided to trial an over 35s section and will start with an 8 team tournament which we may expand next year if it’s a success. That means the main draw will reduce from 20 teams to 16 but this also means everyone will get at least one knockout game with the top 2 competing for the cup and the bottom 2 competing for world footballs biggest prize, The Eric Djemba Djemba Shield! The popularity of this tournament grows every year and we expect teams to fill up fast as usual.
