25.01.2022 Halloween had its origins in the festival of Samhain among the Celts of ancient Britain and Ireland. On the day corresponding to November 1 on contemporary calendars, the new year was believed to begin. During the Samhain festival the souls of those who had died were believed to return to visit their homes on All Hallows’ Eve, and those who had died during the year were believed to journey to the otherworld. TREAT: Foil wrappers are a treat for your yellow-lid recycling bin. Scrunch them all together to make a ball and place them inside. But they can still be a trick! If they look like foil and have a chocolate inside, they'll make the recycling bin scream More tips on how to recycle right redlnd.cc/wasteandrecycling
