21.01.2022 Goodmorning to all. We hope you all get some nice rain that is forecasted soon. Just letting everyone know we are now doing small takeaway options for the travellers that are just popping in for a quick bite to eat. We now have homemade sausage rolls, soon to be pies, sandwiches and lots of cakes and snacks. Pop in on your way through and check it out

18.01.2022 Hi everyone. Very excited for tomorrow to raise some money for the rfs volunteers. Remember that lunch will be served between 12-12:30pm and it is as much as you can eat in one serving. If there is left over food we will call for seconds but it is $20 per person and platters of food will be put out and then people help themselves. All you can eat meaning help yourselves to the amount you put on your plate but no seconds unless we say so on the day. First in best dress I always say. Our raffle will be served at 2pm with the tavern closing at around 3pm. See you tomorrow

Hope you are all going well during this time we are looking at opening up again mid to late June once the restrictions ease a lot more than they are at the moment. We will put up a date when we know the rules and regulations closer into June. Hope all is well and people are loving their time at home. Love red lion crew

05.01.2022 Happy New Years everyone. Im so pleased to announce that joe and I were married on Christmas Eve. To celebrate us newly weds we are holding a New Years feast tomorrow night. Come down and celebrate with us we will have meat on a spit with sides. $20 per person 6:30-7pm dinner starts. Hope to see you there to celebrate the new year with us

Due to restrictions we are not allowed anymore than 10ppl per booking and our pub will be used more as a restaurant until the restrictions ease again. People will have to stay seated. 04.01.2022 Yay good news we have an opening date!! 19th of June We will be opening Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays all day for coffee, cakes, lunch and dinner. Our lunch is from 12-2 dinner is from 5:30-7:30. We will keep those three days until the borders reopen to Queensland.... Please keep in mind that the restrictions are still in place so we are encouraging bookings always. Hope to see you all soon
