23.01.2022 Fun little 30 minute pit stop in to see the old girl at Home Hill, on our way up to Townsville for some baby check ups and business networking. Filmed by the pregnant misses on the iPhone fish eye I reckon she did pretty good for a first timer!! @aimeelouisehall ... It’s been a few years since I mucked around with iPhone clips, or been behind the lens! But I have plenty more to come!! I never get any time to skate anymore and it sucks, like being busy tattooing is rad but that will all be changing from 2021 onwards when I announce some changes at the end of this year. This app was okay but does anyone have any recommendations for the best video making apps for iPhones? We’re I can upload my own font and have a stack of effects etc to choose from! Hit me up below!! & for everyone that’s been hitting me up, I am riding the 8.8 @elanskateboards Redlines and they rule!! Tough as hell for all the other dad bod owners out there haha

22.01.2022 So today I surprised @ronvnthomvs our skate shop manager with his very own Bro Model shop board for his 21st birthday! Ron would rock up to work every day with the classic large Zinger box with extra salt on the chips so I thought that this would be the best idea for a birthday gift! 22.01.2022 Thats a wrap on the Skateboarding at Rumble 2020! Firstly thank you to everyone who came and supported the 2020 Rumble on the Reef. We cannot thank you enough f...or supporting the event during this hectic year we have all had. We had over 150 competitors over the week, and appreciate all of you coming, and everyone from the development programs coming along and joining in. This event has been the most difficult experience to deliver to date, with lockdowns, borders closing, a recession, product shortages of skateboarding equipment in Australia, and having to develop Covid Safe plans which have never been done before. An enormous amount of hours working with 5 different government departments to develop the event to a level it was safe to happen is nothing short of a miracle. The team has worked tirelessly up to and during the event, with all new protocols and extra obligations to do with the current pandemic. We had a number of challenges outside of the covid regulations, with key judges being unavailable due to border closures, product shortages and timeframes for approvals taking longer than expected. This event was of utmost importance for skateboarding, as our learnings and plan have built a framework, on which we can send a covid plan for skateboarding events to other organisers around the world, and help them be able to resume skateboarding events sooner rather than later. Seeing everyone happy and united made all the work worthwhile. We would like to thank all of our partners for coming together and making this happen. We will be starting on next years event in a few weeks, and here is our vision for future investment: 1. Expand the bowl competition to grow to the same size prize money as the street championships. 2. Grow the prize money in both disciplines to attract international visitors to compete. 3. Invest in additional staff to assist in managing the event and improve the experience. 4. Create a global Livestream. Lachy is also running private 1 on 1 lessons throughout the week and @ronvnthomvs will soon be running intermediate/advanced private lessons for all the young ones wanting to take it to the next level ... 17.01.2022 Some recent stuff before the chaos of last weeks @rumbleonthereef event unfolded, apologies again for the delay with replies but as I keep stating we have been flat out and are doing our best to juggle everything that is going on. IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW, please read Unfortunately my books for the tattooing side of things are now CLOSED for 2020.... Thank you all for your messages and I appreciate you reaching out but all remaining spots will be filled this week and I will do my best to get as many of you in as I can. If you are looking to get tattooed next year please remain patient and keep an eye on the page as I will be making an announcement when bookings for Jan-Feb are open as I will only be booking a month in advance from now on. Also, as for next year I will be making some big changes with the way that things are run in store, the main thing being me cutting my tattooing time in half and doing ONLY BLACK tattoos and only in my desired styles. So tattooing privately throughout the day then running the skate shop and working on the brand and business side to things in the afternoons! Not that I don’t mind doing a bit of everything and I think it is an important skill as a tattooer to be versatile but I want to work on pushing my own style and actually having time to draw the things I want and spend time with my family instead of constantly being run off my feet and in all honesty these past few months have burnt me out heavy Not to mention baby number 3 is due this December and we are about to launch another section to the business that will be taking up a lot of my time and another new small business all together. Thank you all so much for your ongoing support and we are looking forward to another exciting and busy year in 2021!!

15.01.2022 The Big Brown Book of Oriental & Ornamental reference I’ve taken a leaf from the old school tat shops here and put together a collection of over 150 pages and 1000 + tattoo design ideas from all corners of the internet. (These are not my drawings) But it gives you a good idea on the type of work I am wanting to do.... I am also in the process of putting together an area on the wall which will consist of smaller pieces I have drawn of "flash" these ones will be tattooed over and over again on a number of clients, then a seperate section of larger work I am wanting to do which will be all unique and one off designs. 11.01.2022 #REPOST!!! CHANGED DATE!! RICHIES RANCH!! Camp out next Wednesday the 23rd of September straight after the Open qualifiers for @rumbleonthereef Bring ya swags and prepare for an absolutely mental night of shredding on this steel 10ft back yard (mini) ramp ... As you can see in this clip of team rider Brent Muscat @killin_weetbix there is a section where there is no back board and the macadamia grows through! So one of the challenges for the night will be best trick in the bush along with highest air, longest grind, worst slam, best doubles run, best tricks and more!! We will be putting on stacks of beers and food for all invited and I will also be donating over $500 in shop vouchers for everyone who skates the hardest! I have a crew of filmers and photographers coming out for the event and myself and @richiemate have a few other little surprises and announcements to be made on the night!! Safe to say if your not there you are missing out on one of the best nights of the year in central/North QLD skateboarding!! I also have a few heavy hitters confirmed to be skating on the night and I am hoping this post will bring out even more, we want to see this ramp get an absolute belting!!!! See y’all there! 11.01.2022 A little something we have been working on with our friend Peter Dahms @imaybeaginger Thanks legend Our goal with this clip was to give you a bit of an insight on to what we have been up to over the past 6 months since opening the new store!... A relaxed atmosphere with private 1 on 1 tattooing throughout the day and a bit more of a fast paced punk vibe in the afternoons when the skate shop opens up, followed by a little look into our School of skate program and weekly free BBQs for the community! 11.01.2022 Couple of snaps for Lucas’s private birthday party session held last Saturday! It’s so rad to see our little skate family growing, the grommies becoming friends, parents getting along and helping out! So epic!! Changed hours through the week from a 3pm open time to 12pm - 6pm for that bit of extra time for everyone on holidays and our all Christmas shoppers!!... 05.01.2022 What’s up legends!! Sorry about the constant delays due to covid but unfortunately all of that is out of our hands at the moment and we are doing our absolute best to stay on top of stock! In saying that we now have a stack of @holidayskateboards pre built beginner completes now available in store retailing at $150each or $125 for minis!... Make sure you get in quick though as these will not last!! We do have more completes coming in over the next few weeks and a stack of rad shop brand completes scheduled to arrive in Jan!! However as for our School of skate program, unfortunately again today I am going to have to cancel due to family commitments but I will be running our Sunday and Monday work shops for @lachlan_lame while he is off unless something else pops up, apologies again but this time of year is absolutely mental!! Please know we are doing our best though! Also to make up for the last few cancelations lately due to life’s craziness we will be putting on a FREE end of year break up for all our School of skate students and there family’s along side our annual Christmas jam, Consisting of a free workshop, bbq, games, competitions and demo by our shop team! Please read below thoroughly before sending through your enquiry, then read it again haha If you have already sent through a message please stay patient and we will get back to you as soon as possible, if you are looking to get tattooed in the new year please note the following ... 1. The studio is private! This means all tattooing is 1 on 1 and all bookings and consultations are strictly by appointment only. NO WALK INS! 2. There is only ONE artist and I am only taking bookings in my preferred style of Black/dot work tattooing in anything oriental, ornamental and all things nature related. (No colour) 3. All messages must contain photos, preferred dates/times, the size in cms, location on the body and any other notes that way I can get back to you faster with availability and a rough quote. 4. All clients will be sent a deposit agreement form with more tattoo related information and a deposit must be paid before any appointments are made. 5. I am currently tattooing less hours each day due to family and business related commitments. This means my availability will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday’s 10 -3. Friday’s 10-5 and Saturdays 10-4. (Closed Sunday/Monday) I will also be holding down the skate shop throughout the week and running weekly skateboarding events so stepping back slightly with the amount of hours I am physically tattooing allows me to get a lot more of my after hours work done while I am sitting in the skate shop and allowing me to take less work home with me therefor getting more quality time with my family. 01.01.2022 Decent start to some larger scale work over the past two days back in the shop for @buckwild.93 & @blade_foxon thanks boys! Apologies in advance if our social media presence slows down or there is a delay with replies over the next month, I have another baby due any day now and will be taking some time off and stepping back from tattooing all day to spend time with my family and work on other goals.... The skate shop will still be open our regular hours with @ronvnthomvs holding it down while I am away! I will be throwing up a post at the end of December when I am taking bookings for the new year!
