22.01.2022 Kindy Blog 25/11/20 Children beading different colours is children's favourite game, recognition of colours and counting them. It helps children hand eye and brain coordination and also help them to create new ideas, placing them in one line, using single color and placing them odd and even. Learning numeracy was intentional teaching for children.



22.01.2022 Junior Kindy 16.11.2020 Today the children had a fun morning playing with the dinosaur magnets. Miss Michelle and the children were naming the dinosaurs and talking about where they live and what they eat. It was a good discussion. The children are very engaged with reading books and some read to their friends. The children liked connecting the construction and using fine motor skills. Some children in home corner were feeding dolls and dressing them - lots of role play. We also connected the road together so we could drive our cars on the road. We all had a happy day.

19.01.2022 Toddlers Blog 27th November 2020 Children are enjoying playing and taking turns on the slide. Hudson is always very happy to go on the slide and giggles while sliding down. We had a free play day today. August choose to play with the blocks and Sammy was roaming around in the push car. Georgia played with the sand and Edward was very lively as always and was taking part to play with everyone. Overall, we had a good day both indoors and outdoors.

18.01.2022 Preschool Blog 10/11/2020 Rainbow serpent Today, we listened to a dreamtime story about the rainbow serpent. The children were so interested and as they listened to the story. The coloured in the rainbow serpent and then displayed the children’s work. The children were proud of their pictures. Children also coloured flags.

15.01.2022 Junior Kindy 30.11.2020 Today the children did some magnetic letters with Miss Michelle and some were able to name the letter of their name. Others were able to tell me the colours and we did some names on the magnetic boards. The children seemed to like this activity. We also did some dancing to the Christmas songs. The children were very engaged with todays story Possum in the house and the children had to find the possum in the story. We also played with the animals and nature resources and role model with dolls. The car tracks the children like to build and than play on the track. Some children did try and make their beds. Outside the children played with playdough with the Kindy children.

14.01.2022 Toddlers Blog 26.11.2020 Our toddlers, had great time playing outdoors today. All the children were involved in different kind of activities like cubby play, puzzles, exploring the magnifier, waffle play. For the group learning activity, we did some drawings on recycled cardboards with chalks. Everyone enjoyed doing drawings.



13.01.2022 Kindy Blog 13/11/20 It has been while; I was not able to upload our Facebook blog. Here is a snap shot of what we have being doing for the last two weeks. The children have being very busy engaging in different activities. Our focus was more on social relationship, and we had many activities during group time -learning to share and having turn, communicating with each other, how to use gentle words, how to use gentle hands, sharing and caring. (Developing their cognitive ...concept and their creativity) Focus in last two week Developing social and emotional relationship with peer one. Learning about community and culture Fine motor and gross motor skill Interacting with each other We did celebrated our Naidoc week, remembrance, day sports week, will post many more pictures for sports day as it was big fun for children. Learning about own country. Understanding of being one (we are one) concept.

13.01.2022 Nursery Blog 1/12/20 Today we welcomed Miss Jelenka in our room. She read stories and sang songs for us. Hudson enjoyed the car ride. Orlando made cakes for the educators. Charlie shared space with Hudson playing in the sandpit. Orlando and Edward also enjoyed playing together in the yard. Inside the room, all the children explored the books and made towers with soft blocks. All the babies are also working towards self-help skills in feeding themselves for lunch.

12.01.2022 Junior Kindy 24.11.2020 The children had a fun morning playing outside and were kept busy playing with hoops and in the sandpit with spades and buckets. We played in the cubby house and played peek a boo with Miss Michelle and rode our bikes. Inside we did role play with the farm animals at the farm table. Than the children had a lot of fun making playdough taking turns measuring full and empty or heavy and light. Than we choose the colour Red which we had a play with. The children read books and connected the magnetic blocks. What a busy day we had.

12.01.2022 Junior Kindy blog 25.11.2020 Today the children have learnt how to do threading as well as learning letters and colours. The children are still enjoying role playing with farm animals and we have learnt the names off all of the animals. Some children enjoyed drawing we got from yoga with coloured pens and chose their favorite colours. Outside play, the children did bike ride and played in the sandpit. Some children liked playing with the hoops that was so interesting. The children had fun climbing on the obstacle course and using gross motor skills. We also played in the sandpit with the trucks.

11.01.2022 Toddlers Blog 25th November 2020 We started our day with the yummy and healthy morning tea as usual. All the toddlers sat around the table outdoors and enjoyed their morning tea. After that, Darius, August, Edward and Olivia were interested in story time so one of the educator read them the book of their choice and allowed them to explore the books and spot the different things like bear,horse, pineapple . We also enjoyed doing flower craft painting, everyone took their turn to paint with the flower craft on the paper with the help of an educator. All the toddlers were so excited while doing the painting, they even stated to use their hand while doing the paint freely on the paper. Toddlers had a happy time while playing both indoors and outdoors.



09.01.2022 Kindy Blog 16th November 2020 As it is recycle week, we used all recycle materials to stick on paper. The children were missing days of the week and season song, Melina requested for Elsa song and all loved it hearing music today. Using natural resource gives opportunity to children to connect with nature and have a sense of belonging.

07.01.2022 Junior Kindy 27.11.2020 We really had fun with reading our books which we enjoyed. The children had a great time role playing with the dolls in the home corner. We also did some puzzles and played with the magnetic blocks. The children enjoyed the fishing sets and had to work out how the magnetics connected to the fish. Outside the children did some ball games putting the balls in the hoop. We all played the game of the big bad wolf and the 3 little pigs the children had so much fun, running around and laughing and grow like the wolf.

07.01.2022 Junior Kindy Blog 1.12.2020 Today children enjoyed playing indoors, they were all engaged with different activities, some of them chose playing in groups and interacting with educators whereas some of them chose to have quiet play by themselves. It’s important to create environments where children can socialize with their peers and also environments where they can have some privacy and quiet time.

06.01.2022 Nursery Blog 24/11/20 We are continuing to explore the sensory and texture experience in our room. All the babies are very keen in colouring, drawing and painting. To keep their interest going each Educator provides them with a variety of activities to choose from. Giving children choices helps them feel like they have some power and control over what they do, and is a big step in growing up.

05.01.2022 Junior Kindy 13.11.20 Today the children had a fun morning making phone cups and enjoyed interacting with each other. The children also had fun with playdough and were making snakes and worms and wearing it on our heads. The children also made balls and put them in our cups. The children did well with their fine motor. We were very engaged in today's story 'The Noisy Monster' which Miss Issy read and the children did lots of laughing. Looking at ourselves in the mirrors which we talked about our body (Face) parts where is our nose eyes etc. We also read books and played with construction. The children did some colour sorting with animals

03.01.2022 Preschool Blog 9/11/20 Balloon experiment Due to the little drizzle of rain we had in the morning, the preschool children went inside to play. Miss Manu had some balloons, told the children to do some experiments with balloons. Therefore, after explaining and demonstrating what happens after rubbing the balloon through your hair, the children saw what happened and all wanted to try. When you rub the balloon through your hair, invisible electrons build up on the surface of the balloon. This is called static electricity, which means non-moving electricity The electrons have the power to pull very light objects toward them.

03.01.2022 Preschool blog 11/11/20 Remembrance Day! Remembrance Day in Australia is dedicated to Australians who died as a result of war, particularly from World War I onwards. Remembrance Day is annually observed on November 11 although it is not a public holiday. The children painted poppies, which will be used to make a wreath.

02.01.2022 Today all the babies enjoyed sharing the space with eachother in the yard and few were trying to stand up with the support. Charlie and Ashley were very happy to share a toy and space with eachother. Nate also enjoyed sharing the space with them. Children who share also learn how to take turns and negotiate, and how to cope with disappointment. These are all important life skills.

02.01.2022 Junior KIndy 23.11.2020 The children had a great day playing with the new farm animals displayed which will be in the room for the week working on the children's interest. The children were doing lots of role playing with the animals. The children have some new stacking blocks we are on loan from another room. The children told educators they were building big towers and are also looking at colours. We also have some coloured shapes which we look through to see different colours. Outside the children did a lot of climbing on the obstacle course and riding bikes. The children made paths with the waffle bricks and began to walk on them. We also had buckets and spades in the sand pit and did lots of digging.

02.01.2022 Toddlers blog 1st December 2020 In Toddlers today, children enjoyed the story time. They had a fun time while looking at the pictures in story book, Edward and August are always excited when it’s time for the story. Every time they take part in pointing out the pictures. Once the story time was over, children had a good time while playing different musical instrument and creating a music. They had a good time both indoors and outdoors.

01.01.2022 Toddler Blog - 24/11/20 Today, all children took part in a group activity where they used chalk to draw and paint on cardboard. Painting aids as such, provide children with hand and eye coordination which is an important skill in their age. This is to develop and enhance their fine motor skills while they learn to paint the parts that they see; making sure their hand movement is at par with their vision. Amelia, Oliva, August and Georgia had a good time playing in the sand w...hile using different sand tools and toys to make the play time more enjoyable and to strengthen their sensory play. Darius showed a keen interest in book reading and chose a few books and asked the Educator to read it to him. Overall, children had a good time both indoors and outdoors.
