24.01.2022 The 13th of January is looking like a doozy. With over 60 online orders already placed for the 13/01, combined with the first day of trading in the P&C Shop, w...e advise the Redlynch State College community to considering placing online orders for a different date. We have set up a dedicated ‘pick-up’ location for all online orders that have been paid for. The P&C Shop is for those who need to try-on and purchase items, collect lay-bys, pay for orders, etc. * please see map below for location of these areas. We are required to meet covid safe requirements and online orders MUST be collected on the date you specify.

If you have placed a stationery/uniform order for collection today please pick... it up from the P&C Shop between 8am-1pm. You can also pop into the shop during this time to try on or order your stationery and uniforms for 2021.

13.01.2022 CANTEEN/TUCKSHOP SERVICES The last day of canteen/tuckshop service for 2020 will be next Wednesday, 9th December. Our Secondary Campus canteen will be operating with reduced stock. In light of this, students are asked to ensure they preorder their items through Flexischools next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. ... A huge thank you and well done to our canteen and tuckshop staff for their efforts in 2020! We appreciate all you do!

12.01.2022 The Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF) Scholarship supports students during their senior years of studies. Students gain financial support and information about future careers and tertiary courses. Congratulations to Redlynch State College students Serina, Memphis, Kaedyn, Ava and Angus who will receive a QATSIC scholarship in 2021!... Well done also to Mr Peckham who assisted the students to complete their applications.

12.01.2022 A message from our outgoing Executive Principal - Mr Tony Fuller: Hello Redlynch State College Community, I would like to thank everyone for their best wishes towards my retirement. I am certainly looking forward to a life with a little less pressure and responsibility. A lot of fishing, camping and golf are on the agenda and of course more time with my family. ... It is with pleasure I announce the incoming Principal for Redlynch State College. I welcome Michael Hansen to the RSC team. I am sure Michael will continue the good work progressing this wonderful College to the next stage in its development. Welcome to RSC Mr Hansen!

12.01.2022 Wow! Check out this stunning Indigenous mural created by Redlynch State College students. The mural symbolises the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. A huge well done to Mr Peckham for working with the students to produce this beautiful piece.

11.01.2022 YEAR 11 LEADERSHIP CAMP Our Year 11 students have now returned from their Senior Leadership Camp at Tinaroo. Students participated in a variety of team-building activities and enjoyed their time in the great outdoors.... What a wonderful way to end an eventful year! A huge thank you to Mrs Glover, Mr Andrejic, Mrs Belcher, Mr Cambie, Mr Crosby, Ms Graham, Mrs Latimer, Mr Slait, Ms Padoin, Mr Mesner and Mr Stewart for supervising the students whilst on camp. 09.01.2022 We had our final P&C meeting for 2020 on Tuesday with several approvals granted to wrap up the year. The P&C approved: $450,000 towards the new OSHC building... due to start over the summer holidays. This will be in addition to a treasury loan to fund the remainder of the approximately $900,000 project. $3,500 to remove trees around the pond on the primary campus. This is the first stage of works to beautify the area. $12,000 for minor renovations to the secondary canteen, and to purchase additional preparation benches $15,000 towards the School Entry Statement to aid in the completion of this joint community project A change to OSHC policy (2.14) - cancellation of bookings - change the policy from 24hrs to 48hrs. 07.01.2022 2021 is going to be a big year for OSHC, as we finalise preparations for a major expansion of the Community Centre building which OSHC operates from. Plans h...ave been completed and submitted to the Department for approval. A Project Manager has been appointed. The tender process has closed. The P&C have saved $450,000 to contribute to the estimated $900,000 project. Application submitted to the QLD Treasury for a loan for the remaining funds. State members contacted seeking additional government assistance. This project is due to be completed mid-2021. We are excited to be able to provide the Redlynch State College community such a wonderfull facility. Don’t fear OSHC families, the current building will remain operational while the new building is constructed. We then move to the new building while the old building undergoes a makeover... and then we have a fantastic new OSHC facility spanning the 2 buildings. *Architect impression of the new facility.

Setting up an account is simple, and you can use your account to order uniform...s, stationery, P-6 tuckshop, 7-12 canteen and P&C events. once you account is set up, ordering is easy via the Flexischools app or webpage. The P&C have made online ordering easy by ensuring there are no fees to you to place your orders. We recommended RSC families create an account for easy online order on 2021. Please note the P&C Shop is cashless. Order must be placed online or paid via EFT in store.

Our stationery service kicks into full swing this week with the P&C Shop open from Wednesday 2nd - Frid...ay 11th December for collection of your stationery (and uniform) orders.
