08.01.2022 Something BIG is coming... Who NOSE what it is? . . . .... #rednoseday2020

04.01.2022 Our hearts are with the communities, firefighters, volunteers, and emergency relief teams on the front lines of the bushfire crisis, and to the families and communities who have lost everything. In these dark times, it is difficult not feel the enormity of the grief and despair of our fellow Australians. Everywhere we look there are images of destruction and devastation. None of us is immune to the scenes of pain and suffering. Grief makes us feel hopeless, helpless and vuln...erable and to witness grief on a national scale only exacerbates these feelings. There is a heaviness we are all feeling. And for those already carrying the burden of grief, the impact of the bushfires may be just too overwhelming. At Red Nose, we understand the importance of community and connection in tough times. The importance of coming together to help each other, to share the load, and to pull together to overcome even the most unimaginable tragedies. And this is happening in spades across our country right now. We couldn’t be prouder of the Australian community. Ordinary Australians brimming with generosity, banding together to donate food, clothes and other life necessities to those in need and raising so much money to help those affected by these devastating events. This is our way of feeling a little less helpless and a little more hopeful. Seeing the generosity of our fellow Australians brings light to these very dark times, and hope for all of us that we can get through this together. But amidst all of the despair, it is still important to look after yourself. Here are some tips for self-protection: - Take a break from the news if you can. - Focus on the good stories the stories of hope and resilience. - Talk to your family and friends about what you’re feeling and give each other space to talk about your feelings. - Seek help if you're feeling overwhelmed or really distressed.
