25.01.2022 The Klugs. This wonderful family came out to the end of their farm driveway on the Williams-Collie Road to cheer our Riders, [and their good friend Helen] on as they cycled past. Shelley has used Solaris Cancer Care services in Perth when she was receiving treatment for breast cancer, so their cheers of support for our cyclists is just one way she can give back to the wonderful team at Solaris.... We ended with a stay at Castle Hotel, York WA and much needed massages by Massage on the Run. During our time on the road, we were fortunate enough to have Chrissie, Frank and Peter Chapman share the journey with us. Frank, Chrissie and Peter looked after us more than we could imagine. 03.01.2022 Day 3 on the bike! Yesterday our Riders travelled on the longest leg of the Route. 199kms: Narrogin to Bunbury. This feat was on the back of two long days of riding Perth > York > Narrogin. We were lucky enough to stop at Solaris Cancer Care in Bunbury and spend some time having lunch with the staff and volunteers.... We even managed to find some time to stop off in Collie and Wellington National Park for a team pic, courtesy of Maree Laffan Photography.
