24.01.2022 Finally got the new layout for Facebook and its definitely different - some people have been problems with their Facebook page and finding everything. Let me know if youre one of these and Ill help you work it out. With all changes we do see some bugs in the systems so hopefully things will only get better.

23.01.2022 Its always the way - after moving house and starting to get back to normal including getting internet access I was all ready to dive in today and then the youngest wakes up with dodgy stomach. This is her spot today and Im working in a comfy chair on the laptop. Not bad just different. I can do it!

23.01.2022 This week I'm being reminded how scary it can be to create something new and to then share it with the world. Because all of those fears come up - am I good enough, do I know enough, will anyone want to work with me? And so I put off sharing this with you - because the fear of visibility can kick all of our butts.... Introducing VISIBLE It’s time to stop feeling like you’re invisible. 23.01.2022 Im trying out a new Monday routine - what Im calling a CEO morning. After dropping kids to daycare/school - I head to a cafe and focus on what I need to do for the business this week. Followed by a reformer Pilates class. ... By the time I get home its close to lunch. Ive only been doing it for a few weeks but so far Im loving this combination. 21.01.2022 I used to be someone who could juggle a hundred things at once but lately Ive found its too much for my brain to handle. We are still looking for a rental and preparing to move so Im focusing my energy there for the moment and thats why Ive remained quiet. 16.01.2022 Ive been floating around a little aimlessly lately - actually floating makes it feel light... Ive felt lost, heavy and unsure. I know it happens every time I get burnt out, take a break or after dealing with a pandemic... but still to lift myself back up out of the sludge it takes a bit, especially adding the moving house to the circumstances. But if and when I remember why I do this - so if I can come back to my centre and ask myself whats my intention? ... Whats my spark? What lights me up and why do I need to be out in the world doing it? That definitely helps me remember and start taking action - even if its the smallest of steps. Action is action is positive... always in the end. So if youre feeling kind of the same.. return to that question - whats your intention? Why do you do what you do? And if youre struggling then let me know... maybe we just need to dig a little deeper

15.01.2022 Im not a big fan of networking - but after a big break its even harder. I was coming up with every excuse not to go this morning. My hair appointment was cancelled, my new dress didnt arrive, I still havent got new business cards and Ive forgotten how to have face to face conversations with adults. ... But I knew once I got there it would be good for me. I approached it with no pressure on myself but a chance to hear others speak. And it was. It was extra reassuring to know others were also feeling the same. Robbie Garvey from Red Lime Jones had me and the rest of the audience in tears of laughter. But not only that the vulnerability in her sharing means we felt like we were part of something special. Shes a woman with spark!

15.01.2022 Honestly its one of the last things I feel like doing right now. Going through my numbers and updating QuickBooks. Its not that its hard (maybe slightly overwhelming when I leave it this long)... But for me I tend to attach too much of sense of success with the figures. So here I am putting it out there that knowing my numbers is a very good thing and I dont need to be afraid of what I do and I dont make each month. But oh yeah these money goals are getting very clear now

14.01.2022 Its time - time to start dipping my toes back into the water. To let my heart and gut guide me - on how I can best guide gorgeous women with spark. For the beginning of this year I was already in contemplation, confusion, overwhelm - I was lacking clarity and direction - not knowing whether I was on the right path. ... So I started to withdraw very slowly and then the world changed. My normal go to would be to quickly react and start operating from a position of fear and scarcity. But I knew it wasnt right for me to showing up at this time. I needed to retreat completely and let go/surrender see what messages came my way. My anxiety was running rampant and I knew it was time to focus on my kids... I removed myself from groups, unliked FB pages and unsubscribed from emails. Everything I was seeing felt so false, contrived and reactionary - I know it wasnt but that was how I felt. I couldnt speak or email, could barely face Zoom calls because even having to talk about how I was feeling brought all the scariness to the front of mind. So I retreated more and more. Its really hard to do when you are already feeling lonely but it was also safer. I didnt want to be the one reacting to the fear... Ive spent so many years learning the lesson and finally I listened. I sent my girls back to daycare and school today - still a little nervous but also needing some quiet time to further figure out my next steps. And its okay not to know right now... I have some lovely ideas including my marketing coaching packages but there is no hurry xo If this post reaches your newsfeed and youve had the moment to read and reflect on this.. 12.01.2022 The best piece of advice Ive ever been given is this Your journey is your journey. What does this mean? Its very easy in business (and life) to compare what we are doing with everyone. That person had a 6 figure launch or oh my god look whos she working with - why isnt that happening for me? What am I doing wrong?... I mean when I started I was convinced Id be booked out as a marketing consultant in less than 12 months and everyone would know who I was. And this business thing was going to be so easy. 09.01.2022 So I wanted to share something with you.... yesterday was the first day of the visibility training and to be honest I nearly put it on hold for a day or so. Why? Because my ego came up and reminded me that I hadn't prepared enough, I didn't know enough, I was looking tired, the weather was playing around with the internet and I hadn't finished the workbook I planned to share with those who are in there. But since I had committed to showing up and I knew I had people waiting... for me - I did it. Was it as polished and fantastic as I would have liked? Hell no. The workbook is still being created but I showed up and did the first live. Today I'll do better but I wanted to share this with you just so you can take stock and think about when have you held yourself back and in turn cost yourself visibility and then the flow on of potential clients and customers. 06.01.2022 I'm leaning (or maybe jumping) right into VISIBILITY right now as you may have noticed ;) This week that means I've been showing up on FB Live more often but I wanted to make sure you knew it doesn't have to be FB Lives. As I've been having these solo conversations I've been thinking how good it would be to interviewing women again and drawing out their thoughts on this subject in particular. ... Because reflecting back - one of the most visible times I had was when I launched my podcast Women with Spark and kept showing up each week. Man I loved those conversations. And with a radio background when I started my podcast it really felt like coming home. The podcast has been on break since March earlier this year but I'm spending some time getting clear on what I want to be sharing and then I'll be pressing the record button. So what should visibility be? I think you can pick a main medium to focus on but it's still important to do the other bits (FB Lives, photos, written blogs and so on) they will only support you in getting clear on your message but also guiding people to the place where you really shine. 04.01.2022 The house is starting to look a lot more chaotic than usual as moving boxes start to be filled. Feeling a little unsettled as we still dont have a house confirmed - the joy of renting and being subject to the rule and approval of others. I really dont enjoy it. ... On my hubby and I dream board is building a beautiful house we can call ours - its a few years down the track but thats what keeps me going. And thats part of my why I created the business! For me safety and security and a home are so important. I know the difference a successful business can make to a family - Ive helped support others to do that. Now its time to create that for me and mine.

Tanya and her husband Rob farm lupins east of Geraldton - normally known for being great sheep/stock feed the couple decided it was about time we learnt how beneficial they are for humans. ... 02.01.2022 One of the main reasons I started this business (other than to slay evil marketing companies) was to buy a block looking out to the ranges and build a home for our family. I forgot the dream for at least the past 5 years and got stuck in the day to day struggle. Until I remembered what I want to feel like and the WHY behind the business. ... Now its easy again. Kind of carefree like our girls running on our soon to be block.

02.01.2022 I know some of you are still right in this pandemic.... and Im feeling very blessed/guilty here in Western Australia as we are able to do most things as normal. As Ive shared here during our lockdown I decided moving house would be a great idea... it turned out to be another stressful/anxiety filled period for me... wondering if I would have somewhere for my kids to live. Maybe I was being overly dramatic but that was the headspace I was in. ... So going through our experience of the lockdown and then the renting process it became super clear we needed a reminder (big kick in the bum actually). The fact my hubby and I had put aside our dream of owning/building a forever home for our family. It was always on the cards, one day... when we were ready.... when we had more money... when we found the block .... BUT... We hadnt really done anything to make it happen. Now weve found out what we need to do to get closer to our DREAM. It was actually one of my key drivers in starting the business 9 years ago but I felt bad in saying it and sharing it. Not anymore. If we dont keep our goals in sight its too easy to say we havent achieved anything... but every action can get us closer. Have you checked in on your goals and why lately?
