25.01.2022 According to a study by Planet Ark, Australians consume around 6 billion cups of coffee each year with 93 per cent of waste from coffee grounds ending up in lan...dfill. When added to landfill, coffee grounds produce methane which has a warming potential far greater than carbon dioxide. Together with our neighbours, Red Square Cafe and Westland Nurseries, we recently began our first circular economy project which aims to divert 50kg of coffee grounds from landfill each week. While this is an experiment to begin with, we are hoping this inspires others to move away from the linear waste model and look at ways in which they too can embed circular economy principles. #myHBA #sustainability

Please remember though, we are only allowed to seat 10 customers at a time inside and we must record your name and number for contact tracing. Table service is also required by law for now. Bookings are preferred, although walk-ins are welcomed on a first-in first-served basis. If you didnt book and we couldnt find you a seat straight away we do have a wait...list so we can contact you as soon as the next table becomes available. 14.01.2022 Weve been a little quiet on social media lately but after the news last night, its time to talk! Times may be tough be WE ARE OPEN!! Our awesome team are bringing the fun back to takeaway cafe food. Breakfast combo specials, funky takeaway burgers, hot lunch specials changing daily and more. When we took on the challenge of running Red Square nearly 10 years ago, takeaway was pretty much all we had. Were going back to our roots to make sure our loyal local crowd are fed to... the standard you have all come to expect. We support the move to minimise the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus. During Airport Safety Week we were thrilled to be ab...le to partner with Autism Tasmania, Virgin Australia and Swissport to give five families the opportunity to have a practice run ahead of their upcoming holidays. Participants walked through the entire airport journey, from check in to boarding the aircraft and finding their seat, giving them a better understanding of what to expect when they travel. We previously worked with Autism Tasmania to develop a suite of social stories to help people understand how an airport works prior to their visit.
