21.02.2022 Many thanks to all our Tasmanian fly fishing workshop attendees over the last season. When Ken Orr, Nick May and Red Tag started these in Sept '20 we though one or two might see out the response....how wrong we were! Nearly 50 anglers later(and most rewarding 50/50 male & female split) and 7 workshops on we had the last one in April. Keep your eye out for the 2021/22 series starting on the 1st Saturday in October. We will be putting the full calendar up soon. Wild browns, great teaching water top location,

10.01.2022 This is what Tasmania risks losing from such pollution 'spills' as happened last week up the Plenty River valley. The Salmon Ponds historic hatchery. The first of its kind for trout in the Southern Hemisphere and a 'world first' achievement that started the whole trout fishing recreational activity in not only our country, but New Zealand and other southern hemisphere countries. The EPA and Ministers responsible for their activities, must find the cause and stop it happening again.
