25.01.2022 STILL NO POWER BUT GETTING CLOSER Sorry about the continued delay but every time we think the power company is going to give us a date to connect they give us another delay so we postpone the updates thinking it is really close. Right now we are hoping we will finally get a target date in the next two weeks but they move like treacle in at SP AusNet.

23.01.2022 RedTrain Roll out plan* AT LAST! After a few false starts we are now "all systems go" for the rollout. The technicians are now contacting people in the South Morang area and will be moving as quickly as possible through those who have registered.... February - Hawkestow Estate will get the first connections; Feb/March - Then the cable will then go up Plenty Rd to Basilica Pde into Mernda and travel north along Breadalbane Ave to Bridge Inn Rd. April - From Bridge Inn Rd the cable will travel East and enter Doreen at the Vantage Point Estate May - The next move is travel North East across Doreen and up Flaxen Hill Rd June - Next will be the region to the East surrounding Mernda Village. June/July - The final stage will be Epping. *All dates are approximate and subject to weather and unforeseen technical issues that may slow progress. 05.01.2022 Will Stan use my data? Yes, watching with Stan will use quite a bit of data. A 45 min episode of Better Call Saul will use about 420MB with the video quality on low (it still looks great on your phone). If youre desperate for those extra pixels, the same episode in HD takes 2.2GB. But dont worry If you go over your limit, well continue to add 1GB for $10 automatically every time you run out of data. We also recommend watching Stan on your home WiFi as much as possible.

05.01.2022 Red Train will start connecting conduits to members who have signed up in Doreen and Mernda. If you have an application lodged then expect a call in the second half of July to make an appointment. The first stage will be based around the initial Pilot Program rollout to connect homes closest to the cable.
