23.01.2022 Late post but better than never. Just a few snaps from the Grade 10 Outdoor Education Friday afternoon adventure. 17km Bike Ride from Railton to Wild Mersey and on to Bells parade. Followed by a nice 4.5km kayak paddle down the river ending at Horse Head Creek boat ramp. Well done to the students on an awesome afternoon. And again thanks to those who supported to make it happen.

19.01.2022 We have asked students to do a good deed for someone in the community. If you receive a card, please send a text message to the school number with the student’s name on it. You can then pass this card onto someone else, or return the card to the school office where it can be given to another student to ‘Pay it Forward.’ We are looking forward to hearing about all the good deeds in our community.

12.01.2022 Tomorrow Reece High will support Gold September and Camp Quality. Students can show their support by wearing gold accessories that are additional to their school uniform and/or crazy socks for a gold coin donation. We will be holding a fundraising bbq during lunch as well. This also coincides with the Tim Blair Foundation who are raising awareness for childhood cancer by running from Burnie High School to Nixon Street Primary School tomorrow. Some of our student leaders will be part of Tim Blair’s support crew for the day and we will also have a group running the last leg alongside him from Reece to Nixon Street. During the day classes will also be participating in their own relay around the oval seeing how much distance we can cover in the school day.
