22.01.2022 Today Riley turned 7! Her Mum bought in a cake and party hats so we could all celebrate together. The staff and children all sang Happy Birthday to Riley then enjoyed the yummy cake

20.01.2022 Earlier in the year we learnt how to say hello in different languages. Today we learnt how to say goodbye and thank you in 11 different languages. We used our multicultural puppets to make the experience more interactive and the children did really well saying the words, even though some of them were tricky!

19.01.2022 Miss Suey came in today and helped the children set up their new giant road puzzle. The children had fun playing with the cars on the track and have already asked if we can get the giant railway puzzle as well

16.01.2022 Continuing with our spring theme, we made flower sun catchers for our window. The children painted the frames then stuck the flowers and leaves they’d collected onto sticky contact. They look amazing on the window (unfortunately the photo doesn’t do it justice)

14.01.2022 Today we worked on developing our colour recognition skills. The children used coloured pictures to peg onto the corresponding colours on our colour wheel. We found by doing this that even if some of the children didn’t know the names of the colours, they were all able to match the pictures to the correct colour

13.01.2022 We are starting our Halloween craft and can’t wait to see what the room looks like when everything is up

08.01.2022 This morning the children got to express their creativity with some open ended craft these masterpieces will be put up on the windows for display

Halloween ...is on Saturday October 31st - to be a Halloween friendly house you just need to have treats to give out to Trick or Treater's that will come knocking at your door. Treats can be anything from lollies, chocolates, bags of chips, juice boxes or little toys. Whatever you would like to give out. The Trick or Treater's in town are always very polite and really enjoy this event, so please get involved. See more

07.01.2022 Today we made a nature sensory with pine cones, leaves, bark, grass and sand. The children added the animals in and made it the animals home. Luke told us the pine cones are dinosaur eggs!!

06.01.2022 Happy Halloween today the local witch came to our Halloween party and helped the children decorate biscuits. We sang 3 little witches, read the story Jampires and danced to the Monster Mash

02.01.2022 Our construction area is slowly coming together and the children are enjoying spending their time building and fixing things
