24.01.2022 The new Queensland Government restrictions published today do not impact churches that are operating under the COVID Safe Industry Plan in which Reedy Creek Baptist Church is. This means that our Sunday Services at 8:00am and 9:30am are still on and you are invited! We have planned two great services for tomorrow and we would love for you to join us. 15.01.2022 Our first gathering together to our Fasting and Prayer service. It is very exciting to see those who are here to pray and praise God for being with us these last number of months where we couldn’t be together. We still have to practice social distancing but it’s awesome to be back. We now look forward to seeing more return next Sunday in one of our morning services either 8am or 9.30am.

10.01.2022 On this very hot day on the GC, Reedy Church was again in action with a group of people working on Stage One of our Playground led by Kim Horne and Marius Botha. Great job Team Reno! Then Reedy Care held their Christmas Lunch with 25 volunteers attending. Thank you volunteers for all your work throughout the year and to Karyn Butcher for her wonderful role as manager. It was a lovely time together. And thank you Steve Russell for cleaning off the graffiti from our new sign so soon after they did it (fortunately Steve put anti-graffiti film on our signs).

09.01.2022 Today, Tony LaRoche a much loved member of Reedy was asked would he like to lead a group (from where he is now in full time care with MND) in worship and time of hearing God’s word and also sharing in communion too. Because of Covid, the facility hasn’t been able provide this for their residents. Tony was very excited and said yes to sharing with up to 9 residents this morning. With all the pain and suffering he is experiencing himself it’s is amazing how Tony is still willing to allow God to use him. He now has been asked to lead a Christmas service in December. Let’s all remember Tony and pray that God gives him strength each day so he can be used to bring others to Christ. Well done Tony!

02.01.2022 Tonight, these three men conclude their leadership with our church’s Boy’s Brigades. Josh Goss and Ken Middleton have served 9 and 12 year’s respectively. Stephen Goss has served for a massive 18 years. These men have served faithfully to hundreds of boys, encouraging, equipping and discipling them on Thursday nights, at camps, leadership weekends, etc. Thank you for your Godly leadership.
