24.01.2022 Let’s just do 1 camp dread.... #whoopsie #nekminute 54 beautiful tidy dreadies for the bestie. Who knew that dreads could actually make someone’s hair look less wild I wish I took a before picture from the back however anyone who knows Russ knows his fro well We started nice and thin as once the dreads mature they will thicken up half the size again - a common mistake made when first creating dreadlocks, always wise to go a little thinner than you want them to look so over time they will thicken up to the size youv always wanted - and as always... Give. Them. Time!

23.01.2022 Today was such an emotional day between reuniting of friendships and finding your soul again this gorgeous girl has been through so so much in the last couple of years and yet still remains one of the most positive people I know. Today we came together to say #fuckcancer as we celebrated and rejoiced back into her dread journey after having to shave off her beautiful locs over a year ago. Needless to say it’s a happy ever after for this gorgeous soul and she’s even kept her beloved dreads to re-attach onto her new loc do - watch this space in the new year to see the transformation. Joey - you are an inspiration and such a beautiful human and blessed to call you my friend

18.01.2022 Been a tad quiet lately as we have been focusing on renovations! However finally managed to find some time to start slotting in a few of my regulars again. Em paid a visit yesterday for some well overdue maintenance (over 8 months worth!) but in three short hours we got them back into tip top shape! Absolutely blown away with how long these babies are getting!!! dread envy right here

17.01.2022 Some baby viking locs were today’s task after Brad cut his 5 year old dreadies off about 12 months ago - he’s been growing his hair ever since to get them back again. This time we started off with thinner ones (which will thicken up to a nice small/medium size style dreads over time) and with a fresh shaved undercut and sides - we went from Joe Dirt to Ragnar in as a little as 5 hours

14.01.2022 A nice tidy up for this gorgeous soul before a special event don’t forget folks - for dry dreads - to do your coconut oil soak once a month! Wrap your head in glad wrap and leave overnight for an even more intense treatment. This heaps keeps your ends in tip top shape and prevents breakage. Needed especially in our Qld climate and if your ocean dancer like myself you can also adds touch of coconut oil to a spray bottle with your favourite essential oils for a daily nourishing spray

14.01.2022 A bit slack on the Facebook postage front here but needless to say I’m still working hard in most aspects that is my life had this gorgeous girl in for a synthetic dread install on Friday and as usual completely rocks her dread do. Can you believe these dreads are going on over 4 years old and still in great condition! perfect for that temporary dreadlock style without the ruining of your natural hair

12.01.2022 First full maintenance session on these brand new babies just short of 4 weeks old. Regular maintenance on new dreads really helps accelerate the maturing process and of course keeps them nice and neat they are already starting to thicken at the base so it really won’t be long for these guys to take shape and settle in.

12.01.2022 Great to be back in the game again after a few restful (not really) weeks off A nice post covid fix up for this delightful dude in just two hours we got that fuzz under control and tightened up a few loose spots in between

10.01.2022 Been a bit slack on the postage front here but doesn’t mean iv not been a busy bee and working some tlc on my favourites. We had an old friend back for some much needed love on his locs. We removed some old tatty extensions and I even got my first try on the razor and gave this pirate an undercut (great idea for a lighter style and keeps the head cooler especially in the warmer months) a couple of hours and a few stories later we had him fixed up, looking sharp

02.01.2022 Who would have thought this was the same person right?! With about 7 months between maintenance we left mr sweet 16 looking and feeling like a million dollars. Seeing the reaction was just priceless so lovely to meet you and hear your adventures today.
