24.01.2022 Well well well... Last week the Reel Teaser team headed out to Scott Reef and what a week we had! We tried something new on the way out, stopping over some ground we thought might have had some Reds on it! Soon enough we were proven right and the old saying "if its red its dead" starting getting used a LOT! (minus the chinamen)! What a start to the trip! Then we went on to put the big lures out on the way to the reef, finally staying connected to our first Blue of the seas...on! (est. 130kg) We picked up a little black closer to Scott Reef and then it was all about the Poppers! They boys smashing a huge amount of GTs. One of our anglers Mark Heath landing 15 Gs himself! The sail fishing was awesome, raising some huge pods and being lucky enough to run the troll pro out at the right time meant we got some cool underwater footage! Billfish galore! We were able to put the boys onto a bunch of smaller dogs with some landed on light gear! With heaps of other fish in the mix (Red Bass, Jobfish, Trout, Sailfin Snapper, Bluefin and many more) the guys topped off every beautiful day with some nice G&Ts over sunset and a few hard earned rums throughout the evenings. We got heaps of amazing footage so I was able to throw together a video of some of the action throughout the trip! We hope to see you all again soon! 22.01.2022 How do I even start this, the word amazing doesnt even begin to describe our last trip to the Rowley Shoals. With a cracking bunch of guys and as always insane fishing, many laughs were had and plenty of bent rods too. I guess I should start with Richard, the old fella has been battling Parkinsons disease for some time. Reel Teaser was humbled to have such an inspiration onboard who seriously showed us hes still got it. The highlight of the trip was his first sailfish (t...he last of the trip). A hungry sail, a perfect corner jaw hook-up and some serious effort from Richard saw the beast get dragged up for a quick snap before going back. We never usually pull sails out of the water for photos but for such a special occasion and a memory that will last a lifetime we couldnt resist! Everyone onboard ended up with sailfish to their name but we all know who took out 1st prize. The inside fishing was ridiculous, a few of the boys were keen to get stuck into the sailfin snapper and Capt. Rosco did not let them down. The array of fish you see in the photos were nearly all caught on surface lures for extra excitement! We were lucky enough to get in our share of marlin fishing also, 7 fish were raised, 6 hook-ups and 3 landed. The highlight of this though was when a behemoth blue marlin crash-tackled the short right lure in plain sight, head shoulders and back raised out of the water I got a good look at her and confidently put her in the well over 350kg range. 5 seconds later the left rigger went bang and a small black started jumping, DOUBLE HOOKUP! After a short run from the big fish it stopped and sat on the surface shaking its head as weve seem big fish do before and unfortunately threw the hook. We landed the little black and reminisced about what could have been with the big girl. What a memorable trip with a memorable bunch of guys, hoping to see you all back one day ready to get that big one. 21.01.2022 As always we would like to thank our amazing friends from Singapore that travel from all across the world to come and fish with us! What an amazing week we had, an unfortunate start with us having to leave a day late due to some bad weather but I think these guys made up for it and so did the weather gods! Absolute glass off conditions again. The fishing was on fire on the inside, these guys love targeting the trout or as Toke loves to say Pass-e-onnn". Nearly 300 trout were... caught, along with the massive variety of others including bluefin, Tiger Trout, red bass, GT, Cod, Maori Sea Pearch, Humphead (Napolean Wrasse) and countless others. The doggies turned up in the last two days with them landing 16 and some of the unstoppable big ones getting away on the reef! The sailfish were so thick we couldnt get away from them! When trolling for doggies we were raising pods on the lures, hardly a problem though! We would especially love to thank Chak who helped out in the kitchen cooking up an absolute storm! The ultimate was the coral trout head and tail curry! All in all we hope it was a week to remember! 21.01.2022 Hello everyone! I know its been a long while since anything being posted on here! We have had a very nice break! I intend on posting a lot more content and more often now that our season has kicked into gear again! We are on Day 2 of our first charter with our Singaporean clients out of Exmouth and having lots of fun. A nice 250kg blue yesterday (Ill post pics soon) and a nice little black jumping here on the light gear today! Hoping the bite picks up over the next couple of days! happy fishing everyone, stay tuned!

21.01.2022 We are getting ready to head back up to this amazing place on Wednesday! Recapping on an absolutely amazing trip with these legends from Victoria! They braved the warm conditions while the crew was wearing jumpers We caught lots and lots of Barra and enjoyed all the benefits of the produce the Kimberley has to offer. Mud crabs and fish were the main things on the menu all trip with no complaints from anyone on board with Traceys fantastic cooking. These guys are awesome and make really cool educational fishing videos, you should definitely check them out! We made videos on everything from GTs to sailfin snapper! Unfortunately we werent able to do our usual trip up the coast because of Cyclone Wallace but our friends from Singapore had some awesome billfish action in and out of Exmouth! We also managed to sneak up to the Southern end of the Monte Bellow Islands and smacked some good Trout, Spangos, Crayfish and all the rest! The footage on that part was a little slack although there are some photos that I posted earlier! As always we had a fantastic time! ABOUT THE ROLE The role includes catering for 6 clients and 3 crew (yourself included) aboard a 65ft vessel. Our average charter is 9 days with an average 4-5 day turn around. Breakfast, packed lunches for the days fishing and cooked lunches whist aboard and cooked dinner, often the days catch. You will be able to experience preparing some of the best and freshest seafood available on the western Australian coast. Anything from Broadbill Sword Fish to Yellow Fin tuna, Fresh mud crabs and oysters picked off the rock that morning. Additionally you will be able to participate in waterfall walks, snorkelling and remote beaches as a part of your experience working for us. MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction through friendly, helpful and efficient service at all times. 2. Ensure a harmonious working relationship with staff in accordance with anti-discrimination, sexual harassment and general employment law. 3. Maintaining galley area in a clean and workable state at all times. 4. Preparation of meals and snacks as required by the customers and crew. 5. Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies 6. Must be able to cook seafood 7. Maintaining shower and toilet area in a hygienic state at all times. 8. Tidying and cleaning of all cabin areas. 9. Assist other crew members when required. 10. Perform duties and obey the lawful instructions as designated by skipper and other crew members as required. 11. 03.01.2022 THE GT EXTRAVAGANZA! This awesome bunch of fellas joined forces from all over the country with one pretty obvious goal in common... Keep tackle shops operating! Oh and also catch a tonne of fish! With 30 rods between them and god knows how much other gear the mission was going to be epic! And what a start we got off to, trolling up a nice 150kg Blue Marlin on the way out, luckily it was a short fight, some of the guys were threatening to cut the line because they were missing... out on popper time! Then the popper fishing began and what insanity it was, just under 50 GTs caught for the trip with the biggest est. just under 40kg! With countless other species thrown in the mix, some of the favourites including the Green Jobfish, Trout, Bluefin, Maori Sea Pearch, triggerfish (on stickbaits!) and Maori Wrasse! But for some of the guys the main attraction were the Big Bad Bustling Bass, on light gear we tackled some huge Red Bass and many of them tackled us thats for sure, 108 Red Bass caught for the trip - awesome stuff. A few smaller dogtooth came around to play but unfortunately none of the plus sized models were landed, although there were a few hot spools after some screaming 300m unstoppable runs into the deeps. There was some awesome action on the yellowfin and wahoo, we think possibly for the first time ever we caught a wahoo and green jobfish on the same lure at the same time! All in all it was an amazing trip with plenty of amazing fishing, Would like to say a massive thanks to these guys for fishing so hard and making the trip very enjoyable for all! 02.01.2022 We are so happy to be back into the calm, scenic and beautiful waters of the Kimberley! Accompanied by our friends Chris, Brenda and Bob, a fishing trio from hell! The Barra never stood a chance, with 66 Barra landed for the trip and a huge mix bag of species to join them. Amazing company, awesome food and wine (Thanks Bob) and lots of laughs. 01.01.2022 3 blokes fishing from Broome to Perth! What more could you ask for. Reel Teaser ventured south over the last 10 days. An insane marlin bite saw us raise 37 marlin in 3 days and 46 for the trip. Biggest landed est. 300kg (no photos ). 8 blues and 5 blacks captured. Some really fun fishing around the Abrolhos islands, Crays, Dhuies and snapper kept us busy and our plates full! What an amazing experience. A massive highlight was landing our 16th broadie which swam into the transom lights to eat the squid bait! Reel Teaser is looking to book in the trip back from Perth to Exmouth!
