16.01.2022 Mani working as getting his back foot on off stump. Loves the cut shot and sees it as a strength but u don't want to be going back on leg stump. Ran out of battery so his skipping out to pace and hitting hard and straight for 6 will be shown another time.

13.01.2022 I have just witnessed possibly the best ball striking '15' year old on the planet. Will reveal more in due course but for now just want this young man to enjoy his cricket, improve at the right pace to still keep his desire. His belief is huge but it must be even greater which comes from achieving on the pitch. He somehow was missed by the WACA selectors even after hitting 50 sixes for club and school in the season. He may not average what some more careful batters do but as... a game changer and match winner he will do what others will never be able to do.I have been fortunate enough to have been asked to coach and mentor him.tonight was our 2nd session and he was given the immediate task of chasing ,60 off 6 overs. 12 were needed off the last. Video to follow. We then worked on the ramp shot as it was a T20 coaching session and finally the footwork to step back in the crease in order to hit Yorkers for six. He picked it up in no time. Tips and technique needed to play the very best bowlers. He will work on them now for when he bursts into the T20 world scene. Sit back and enjoy a rare talent blessed with fast twitch fibres, strength, reach and extension. Have been involved in the game a long time and worked with international players. 13.01.2022 Neel has a lot of potential for a12 year old and is confident with his game and communication. Seems to have a good temperament and like his brother Mani both bowl medium and medium fast with good control.

11.01.2022 Good to be back working with Rob who had not had a bat for a while and last week struggled to find the form of a couple of months back. I felt he was picking the bat up on a 40-45 degree angle at times last week and having reveiwed footage suggested he take the bat back straighter. He had a far better outcome.The first two balls u will see were at the end of last week. The rest are from the start of this week. And by the end of the session Rob had the bat even straighter and looked a whole lot happier.

08.01.2022 Mani has plenty of ability and strokes the ball with some great shapes, full extension and follow thru. He prefers the off side and was not comfortable holding a base on leg stump. He is working hard to stay in line on leg stump. He gives himself plenty of room when skipping down to pace but managed to play some exquisite lofted checked drives from the crease. He is only 14. He has fast hands so plenty of bat speed. So good working with talent like this at a young age. Well played.

08.01.2022 This is 12 year old Neel Kalia. He follows instruction so well and has the gift of natural hands and timing to go with a good eye and judgement of pace and bounce. I asked him to do an initial slight movement of his front foot to give him something to push off to take him backwards to off stump but stay side on. This first ball shows plenty of class. His front foot driving just needs some acceptance to make the right shape with timing and a checked drive finish.He has a tede...ncy to bring the bottom hand thru and slaps the ball square. The power thru mid off, extra cover and past the bowler will come with age. He needs to keep his left elbow high and not over hit.meet put ball later and extend plus hold the shot, striking the ball into the pitch. Showed very good courage as the machine was on an under 17 pace and he did cop a flick on his calf. See more
