12.05.2022 We are so lucky to live in Broome. Whilst most of Australia is in some kind of lockdown we, in our isolation, can enjoy what we have. Beauty is on our doorstep, the weather is perfect, a permanent holiday atmosphere exists (despite the pain many tourism ventures are going through) and we are ready to share it with anyone who thinks it's too good to be true! It IS true and it's waiting to be shared!

26.04.2022 Oh My Goodness! It's swings and roundabouts with bookings and cancellations at present! If you or your family would like a sudden Broome holiday ring us on 0419 955 245 to enquire about our vacancies for August and September. There are still a few dates left from yesterday's Qld cancellation list! The weather here is PERFECT.

20.04.2022 If you are one of the many people who have been unable to get accommodation for your desired trip to Broome your luck may have changed. Due to NSW border closures we have quite a few resultant vacancies between now and mid August. Check with us for the latest upgrade and you may be able to secure a flight. A disaster for some but maybe an opportunity for you! Happy holiday hunting.

14.04.2022 July 11, 12, 13 We have had a covid cancellation in the downstairs 3 bedroom accommodation. We can discount the price if you only need 2 bedrooms Msg if this can assist you. Great place to chill out for a few days!

07.04.2022 We are in desperate need of a cleaner several days a week. The work would range from 2 hours to 6 hours for each clean and varies between the whole place once a week to part of it every 2 to 4 days. A knowledge of hospitality cleaning would help but not essential . Please message me if you, or someone you know, may be interested. Most work starts around 10.30am.

26.03.2022 Do you, or anyone you know, need accommodation for August 27, 28, 29. We have a lovely studio apartment in a beautiful resort at Cable Beach. We had booked this for friends who now can't come. We are making it available through us rather than cancel the booking so do contact us if you have use for it. The rate is discounted

24.01.2022 Although the wet season is not great for the accommodation business I just love the thunder clouds that we see almost daily. They are truly beautiful and just highlight the spectacular Broome colours. Next to no rain but still happy. I always miss these when the season has finished BUT then we can look forward to all the wonderful guests who come in. Bout 2 spots of rain at the mangrove from this lot!

24.01.2022 We miss living at our B&B so much. At least our guests get the benefit of the lovely views over the Bay, the peaceful neighborhood and the beautiful storm clouds that move across the Bay. The perfect place for anyone who wants to experience the colours of Broome.

22.01.2022 After a rather traumatic personal year we are now ready to start a new year with our whole house holiday rental taking the important role. It's a great place for a family holiday and can sleep 11 people. If you ar thinking of a group holiday or short break for a special occasion just give us a call to check availability. We miss being there but love it when some family can enjoy it. Thanks to all those who cared for it so well last year

20.01.2022 Today I waved goodbye to a delightful guy travelling on his own from the Netherlands. When I went to clear his room I found this thank you note......"Thank you for the wonderful stay here. It really is a Special Place". Exactly how we feel but it is so nice when guests feel the same way!

19.01.2022 Fantastic! Highest tide for the year at 10.4m. It is always exciting to see that water rising almost to the road's edge. One minute it is beautiful and the next minute it's on it's way out. The next high tide will be New Moon April 5 - 10 with the biggest being 9.84 m. Worth coinciding your Broome trip with that time or with the Staircase full moon tide April 20, 21, 22.

18.01.2022 Until we are known well as a Holiday House instead of a B&B we will offer discounts to those that book 3 days or more for the whole house. Bookings must be direct though us. Start planning your next family holiday.

16.01.2022 Finally got down to some serious repair work in the back garden but every time I start on an area the job grows bigger. It will be very satisfying when we get the back corner looking great again. Relaxing area for guests to chill out

We do understand the daily changes to travel alerts and feel for the decisions facing our prospective guests. YES! 16.01.2022 Now the bookings are beginning to come through for 2018. We were worried that we may" have missed the boat". Don't you risk missing the boat. If you are planning a family holiday or a special Broome occasion get in quickly with your booking for 2018-2019. A lovely place for the wedding guests. Special rate for Broome residents.

13.01.2022 What a wonderful 4 days of rain. So unusual for that long and so cool. A cyclone that isn't really a cyclone is the best thing to have when the weather has been so hot and humid. We had finished cleaning up the broken trees, fallen palm fronds and the several million leaves and had cleaned the pool after cyclone Hilda just in time. We are so glad that we didn't go away! If you are thinking of coming to Broome the wet season, despite popular thought, is never boring.

09.01.2022 It’s feeling like the season is just around the corner....it’s exciting. We have our Covid 19 safety certificate and are ready to go. The ground floor is taken until mid June but the beautiful upstairs 1 bedroom apartment is begging for company. Tourist activities are ready to ramp up and everyone has a fresh outlook. Come to our beautiful Broome and see for yourself.
