18.01.2022 AN UPDATE FOR OUR COMMUNITY The NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research, The Hon. Brad Hazzard, MP, has now confirmed the NSW position and made an Order under the Public Health Act 2010 which now bans mass gatherings, places restrictions on other gatherings and requires the closure of caravan parks and camping grounds. What does this mean?... 1.Travellers already in a Reflections Holiday Park with no other permanent address will be allowed to stay. 2.Travellers who have no permanent address who plan to stay in a park will be allowed to do so unless impacted by travel bans and state closures. You will need to complete the exceptional travel booking enquiry form via the link below. 3.Travellers who are holidaying or have a permanent address elsewhere will not be allowed to check into the park after midnight tonight. This will be effective until further notice by the NSW Health Minister. At this time, we understand that you may have questions relating to your future booking with Reflections Holiday Parks. 11.01.2022 A COVID UPDATE TO OUR COMMUNITY Reflections Holiday Parks acknowledges the COVID-19 outbreak on the Northern Beaches in Sydney and we are currently working with guests due to arrive from this area to assist with their cancellations in line with the NSW Public Health Order currently in place until Midnight, Wednesday 23rd December 2020. There are no other Public Health Orders restricting guests travel outside of the Northern Beaches LGA and we welcome all arrivals from outside... this current hotspot. Please be advised before you travel if you have even the mildest symptoms, such as headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat or runny nose, you should immediately be tested and isolate until a negative result is received. 04.01.2022 IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION UPDATE We are pleased to confirm that the Minister for Health and Medical Research, The Hon. Brad Hazzard, MP, has granted an exemption to NSW caravan parks from certain restrictions under the Public Health Order 2020. These changes now say that caravan parks and camping grounds must not be open to members of the public EXCEPT for the purposes of accommodating:... Permanent residents of the caravan park or camping ground, Overnight travellers, Persons working in the local area, Other persons who have no other place of permanent residence or whose primary place of residence is temporarily unavailable, and Visitors to the persons set out above. 02.01.2022 TRAVEL INFORMATION UPDATE The Australian Government has recommended that Australians no longer undertake any non-essential travel for the immediate future, though we recognise the confusion this creates as many in our community live permanently on the road or are unable to easily return home due to ongoing state border closures. With this in mind, we welcome guests to all of our 37 holiday parks across NSW as we continue to meet the definition of an ‘essential service’ as out...lined by the government. That is, essential to permanent residents, workers and the transit population as they move towards their primary residence. If you need a place to stay safe during these unfolding challenging times, please feel welcome at Reflections Holiday Parks. All dining areas, playground facilities, swimming pools and splash parks are now closed until further notice and guests setting up their sites must now adhere to a 1.5m minimum distance requirement, irrespective of campsite boundaries.
