15.01.2022 Dear Members, COVID19 response. Gym will close from today. March 21st, 2020. I listened to the prime minister Morrison and his advisors yesterday. I have listened to the experts. I had contact with a friend in Sorrento in Italy last night. Her shop is closed. She is "locked in her home" and she advised me to go to the farm and stay there ! ... The risk is serious to the people in Hillston. I would rather be over cautious then deescalate when the virus is contained and a treatment available than do too little too late. We close the doors today at 5pm. Memberships are on hold until further notice. For inquiries, Please email Ellen at [email protected]. Unused portion of memberships can be refunded on request. This will be done via email and electronic funds transfer. Please include account details in the email. I will not be responsible for spreading this virus that will harm many. I consider gym indoor exercise an unnecessary risk for this unprecedented Infection risk. On behalf of Laura and I , I thank you for your understanding, cooperation and patience. 15.01.2022 Business update Hi. Hope you are all well and coping the changes impacting our lives through the COVID 19 pandemic. Physiotherapy services continue unchanged. Contact Ellen or Laura to arrange an appointment.... Congratulations to Laura who has achieved registration as a Physiotherapist in Australia. Welcome to the team as a Physiotherapist in Hillston at this business and at the hospital. Your ongoing commitment is appreciated. We have also introduced Telehealth consultations for professional advice and support from the comfort of your own home. Fees apply. There are rebates for the various insurances. Eg private, work cover and DVA. Inquiries welcome. From a Pandemic response viewpoint, things are tracking okay and it looks like gyms may soon be permitted to re-open in NSW too. Laura and I are busy preparing for the official announcement as COVID restrictions ease. Due to the processes in place at our facility in Hillston, social distancing and infection control measures we will use a gradual return to usual business. This relies on everyone’s cooperation. Members who placed their membership on hold will be invited back in first to continue their 24/7 membership. Each person will need to adhere to hand hygiene and equipment cleaning after each use. A waiting list for those wanting to begin or start again as new members will be created. We plan to limit numbers of members and gradually increase this limit as we ensure people manage the infection control requirements adequately. Thanks for your understanding and patience- especially those who remained as members through these tough times! Looking forward to being back on deck with the gym with the necessary changes in place. 15.01.2022 Gym closure from August 1st, 2020 due to COVID restrictions and the need to protect our community from unnecessary transmission risk . Memberships are non-refundable and will be placed on hold. Physiotherapy services continue as an Essential service by appointment only.... Management Apologises for any inconvenience.
