20.01.2022 Meet Matt, our field ops manager, key bush regenerator, and a sucker for a 'bleeding heart' Matt and the team at ReForest Now have planted 52, 658 rainforest trees in just over a year, with 3, 017 this week alone around #ByronBay for search engine Ecosia. Check out Ecosia, every search helps plant a tree and reverse climate change.

18.01.2022 Big progress at the ReForest Now nursery - thanks to - Justine Elliot MP (stronger communities round 5 grant) and The MANA Movement. We have an entirely new potting up area, soil bay, work benches, tables and chairs and one GIANT 14 person potting bench for heaps of people to come and volunteer (once we safely can!). As part of this outcome 8,668 rainforest trees were also potted up this month for The MANA Movement!

15.01.2022 4 hectares of rainforest regeneration completed this week on the Wilson's river by an RN team of 8. The river's rainforest is so resilient a living thing... So worthy of service and so fecund in bringing back it's own species with great force. We love having the chance to support it and are excited to watch the formerly suppressed natives boost up and rebuild to their former glory.

10.01.2022 Across the 14th and 16th of October we planted another 2, 949 rainforest trees - 2,540 for Ecosia and 409 for our exciting new partner Go-To Skin Care! So where do these baby trees come from? In the photo below our re-wilder Madeleine is onsite collecting wild sprouted rainforest trees in the still-forested mountains. We collect these from over abundant or already recovered areas as one of our collection methods to increase the genetic diversity of our planting stock...s. This is so we can grow forests that will create healthy offspring!
