20.01.2022 In the midst of this pandemic, when there is lots of uncertainty in an unprecedented time, I’d like to share with you a mindful practice from A Handful of Quiet. Happiness in Four Pebbles by Thich Nhat Hanh. The book is a playful and activity based book designed to involve children in practicing meditation can help relieve stress, and help them deal with difficult emotions. This one caught my eye today.

19.01.2022 Reframe Psychology is celebrating #IDAHOBIT 2020. On May 17 1990, the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from the Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems. IDAHOBIT celebrates gender, sexuality diverse and intersex people and raises awareness for the work still required to reduce stigma and pathologisation.
15.01.2022 You can still come in person for your appointment if you are well. If you’d like a Telehealth appointment, I can arrange a secure and confidential video or phone call. Just touch base to discuss the best option for you. Bulk billing and private health fund support available. Take care, Heidi

08.01.2022 Good morning. With the COVID-19 pandemic there is increasing social distancing to reduce the risk of transmission. I am following the official government advice about social isolation and I expect there may be further advice from the government on even greater restrictions over the next few days. If you are feeling unwell you should not attend sessions in person. You should follow medical advice and self-isolate for the appropriate period of time to ensure your recovery and ...the protection of those around you. You should check the Department of health website www.health.gov.au for the latest government advice regarding COVID-19. I am working towards a model of service delivery that allows psychology sessions to continue for your next session, I can offer you in person if you are well, however, I am proposing that we shift our sessions to phone or Telehealth (video call). Please let me know how you plan to attend. If you are coming into your appointment, I have put in place additional hygiene measures. I would encourage you to minimise your time in the waiting area, practice hand hygiene and social distancing. Kind regards Heidi
