25.01.2022 Another student gets their Ps on their 1st attempt.

25.01.2022 Keeping you up to date with the changing road rules. From the 1st march you must now when passing a cyclist in a 60km speed zone or less allow a distance of 1 metre. Where the speed limit is greater than 60km you must leave 1.5 meters. If you do not follow these new rules there is a penalty of $319 dollars and a loss 2 dermerit points. To accommodate these new rules some rules have been changed as far as road markings are concerned. For example, now when traveling behind a cyclist in a single lane road with unbroken double white lines it is now accepted that you can cross these double lines in order to allow the legal distances for cycleist. This should only happen when it is safe to do so and there is no oncoming traffic and proper indercation is required.

21.01.2022 Hi guys another great weekend and beautiful weather, and of course that comes with alot traffic with people getting out and about. Which brings me to my next point , if you happen to visting a busy shopping centre or car park remember most of these car parks or all of these car parks are shared zones for pedestrians and vehicles now and have a very low speed zone of anything between 5 and 15km . The point I like to bring up is when your reversing in car parks and at any other time remember when reversing you have no right of way you must only reverse when it is clear , if you do reverse into someone or a vehicle which moving past or stationary you will be held accountable, so take care and make sure its clear

13.01.2022 Flashing lights on the rear of bus with the speed limit 40km in the middle of two flashing lights ( located at the top rear window) these are called WIG WAG LIGHTS. and are put on manually by the driver at the begining of his shift from 730 till 10am.What does this mean? It means if you are approaching the rear of the bus and it is stop at the bus stop or allocated area and the lights are flashing you must be doing 40km when passing the bus when it is stop . This applies to every lane traveling that direction and every driver. Alot of learners fail their Ps test for this error because there is alot going on, so remember be Alert on the approach to buses.

08.01.2022 Hi guys, lately as I have been driving between lesson and driving around in my own time I have being noticing alot of unusual lane changing technics . It seems to be people driving their cars have forgotten a few basic principles when changing lanes. When we signal or indercate that is a intention of what we would like to do, we would like to move into the desired lane , not a right we must remember that when we sigal or indercate it should be safe gap . If the other dri...ver in the desired lane can see your signal early enough he may decide to slow down and allow you to move over leaving you a comfortable space . Nobody should have to be hitting their brakes hard because somebody else belives a indercator gives them a right to lane change without being safe and courteous to other road uses . 06.01.2022 Rain Rain go away come back another day when iam not doing my driving test. BIG TIP TODAY IF YOU ARE SITTING YOUR DRIVING TEST IN THE RAIN . You should know how to operate your wipers and demister correctly you will fail the test if you do not operate these controls effectively. Remember if it is raining make sure your wipers are moving fast enough so you have a clear windshield for you and your examiner, if it rains harder adjust wiper speed.Demister news your aircon on cold to get best results that should demise all car windows and remember reduce speed in wet

05.01.2022 Will I make it through that amber( orange yellow) light before it goes RED. The answer is you are meant to stop at Amber , there are only two real excuses (if any) for possibly going through a amber light. if the car behind you is going to involve you in a serious accident by running into the back of you because he or she wasnt concentrating on was happening you would then make the decision to either stop or go through the light.The another reason would be that you dont have enough time to stop safely without entering the intersection. REMEMBER GOING THROUGH A AMBER LIGHT IS THE SAME FINE FOR GOING THROUGH A RED LIGHT AND THE SAME LOSS OF POINTS. So remember ease off towards green lights

01.01.2022 Morning guys, when sitting your driving exam remember What You Show is What You Know so when doing head checks and checking side street be obvious( not submissive) if your not seen doing it you will be marked . Tip for easier driving techniques alot of people underestimate the value of the internal center rear view mirror if you are checking it on a regular basis this will make lane changing much easier and it will also give you the ability to be able to predict bad driving practice by other road uses that may effect you
