25.01.2022 Time for some Cirrus Vision SF50 footage. Why? Well why not? The Vision SF50 is Cirrus Aircraft's 'Personal Jet'. It's in the final stages of FAA certification. Around 550 deposit holders are lined up to take delivery once it goes into production next year. This video is from Oshkosh last year. it's not particularly stunning footage nor does the pilot throw the aircraft around excessively - but that's no doubt in keeping with the positioning and messaging Cirrus wants this ma...gnificent machine to carry; safety and flight characteristics well within the abilities of owner pilots. What the footage shows though is a stable flying platform with smooth operation of the gear and flaps plus a very svelte and unique streamline shape that will definitely turn heads. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAZcaBwdv2I

18.01.2022 Regalair's Peter Edwards left on a quite long-legged trip today. He is flying with the owner of this tremendous Cirrus, Paul Jansen, to Singapore! They're tracking via Mt Isa, Darwin, Kupang (capital of the Indonesian province of East Nusa Tenggara), Bali, Jakarta, then Singapore.

16.01.2022 Many of you will remember the great OzRunways hosted Angel Flight fundraising evening we had back in October last year in the RegalAir hangar where Matt Hall was the guest speaker. It was a tremendous night and he did a terrific talk and presentation for us all. Well here he is featured in an article in the Sydney Morning Herald. It's a great write up but what's really fun is to watch him in the video attempting to make journalist Sarah Berry lose her breakfast. Congratulations to her for hanging in there! Keep the SoundCloud stream playing even after the orange bar graph reaches the end as there's more content that follows with a very good interview with the new CASA Chairman Geoff Boyd. He appears to have a solid background in General Aviation and comes across very competently.
