15.01.2022 When I launched Regalo for Mothers, I wanted to partner with a service provider to do the 'cleaning side of things". I tried and tested a number of services but couldn't really find what I want to provide for 'my mothers'. I deeply cared for them and their homes, they were 'me' after all! I set up the cleaning side of Regalo with a simple commitment: we do what our clients need in the way they like it done. And I've been blessed to attract a team of wonderful people that shar...e the same values. We go into people's homes with the intent of contributing and making a difference. Soon, requests started coming through: "Is the cleaning just for mothers?" "Can you come next week again?" "Can you clean my home? We're selling it." "Can you clean my office?" Today we are the preferred service provider for a number of Real Estate Agencies, Commercial Offices, Strata Building and Constructions companies. And, of course, we continue to be at the service of our beloved families & mums, the reason why we started this thriving little business. 11.01.2022 You want your carpets looking and smelling great while letting kids be kids around the house? Here are some tips: - ALWAYS and ONLY buy washable markers, crayons and paint. You know that if you have kids, at some stage carpets, walls and windows will become a canvas, so just make sure you can clean it up easily. ... - Food, poop and other things have gone on the carpet? No drama. Spot clean with a mix of detergent and water with an old toothbrush. Dry as much as you can with paper towels and then put loads of salt on the stain to help it dry and drain all dirt. Brush the excess then vacuum it well. Bingo - it's all looking good again! - Smelly carpets? Mix bi-carb soda with a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Sprinkle all over your carpet and let it sit overnight. Clean the excess with a broom and vacuum throughout. Voila - your carpets smell great again! Any funny stories involving kids and carpets? 08.01.2022 One thing that I soon discovered being the owner of Regalo is that you can't force the pursuit of excellence onto people. You can train them to do a job, but the desire to do the absolute best, to honestly care for people and to day in and day out show up with strong work ethics comes from within and is a personality trait. Roger is the embodiment of excellence. He is also a doting father, friend, partner and overall an A class human. We are so fortunate to have this gentle...man as our Team Supervisor & Trainer. He has been with us since the early days at Regalo, when a friend in common thought we would work well together. @jobrolese you're so right!
