22.01.2022 Log Books and Fringe benefits tax. The FBT year comes to an end on 31/03/2019. If you operate as a Company or Trust and hold Motor Vehicles within them, you will likely need to lodge an FBT return. The ATO are routinely fining people $1,050 for late lodgement.

10.01.2022 GOVERNMENT STIMULUS. We have had countless phone calls calling for guidance on how the governments stimulus package will affect them. As of now, the only available information is on the link we have provided and right now it is very light on the finer details.... Summary for business (only cash flow related) 1. 50% reduction in PAYG lodged over 6 months with a max limit of $25,000 and a minimum of $2,000. This will happen automatically when your BAS is lodged. 2. 50% wage subsidy to small business paying an apprentice for 9 months up to $21,000 (assuming per business) There are a number of other sections, we suggest you give the link a read. Right now the details are very light and could change overnight. How exactly this gets implemented, we will update as we learn more.
