15.01.2022 This winter crop was planted on May 2nd this year. Kathy and Lawry had destocked and wanted to give the paddock a break, so they spoke to Luke Harrington from Re-Gen Farming who recommended a Winter Crop Mix. This particular mix contains tillage radish, oats, cereal, rye, triticale, barley, winter canola, clover and lentils. The sowing rate was 40kg per ha and the only treatment was the application of sea minerals when the crop was up (and some timely rain!!). The crop is now 6 foot high and will be cut for hay
