16.01.2022 Today we received a wonderful update from Max George who is using the REGENR8 unit to treat patients suffering with dementia as a free trial on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. Only two weeks in and after only 47mins total application time with the REGENR8 unit one of his patients is making remarkable progress.... "Had an exciting experience today. Those following know I am conducting a trial using the REGENR8 machine, (a free trial for volunteered dementia sufferers on Sunshine C...oast Queensland.) Using only the red light pulsed at 40 Hz. To my knowledge this is a first in Australia. I have been treating an 84 year old lady (stroke victim of 14 years ago) since the beginning of this month. Previously she was a music teacher and not able to play the piano, (according to her husband) since the stroke which left her with a severe dementia. (MMSE tested at commencement result of 14/30). Since starting the trial, she has only had a total of 47 minutes of the treatment ( at 2 day intervals) which was commenced on 5/2/2017. I was informed by her husband she had played the piano yesterday for over half an hour. First time since her stroke. All of us are delighted ( I cried after I left ) When I asked what she had played she told me book 1 of scales. She also remembered that she used to teach the Suzuki method. She was amazed she could now remember as she said they were very hard scales to master. I will retest this week to check the current MMSE score and progress." 12.01.2022 One of the most common questions that people have is "How much should I use the lamp?" Well the answer is not simple because the light absorption occurs through the tissue layers and is different depending on the region of interest.... However as a general rule, and on one area, we recommend 5-10 minutes, and then watch and listen to your body, and you can repeat this several times per day if you wish.
