25.01.2022 THE UNIFORM SHOP // We wish to advise you that this Friday, 20 November 2020 The Uniform Shop will only be open to the public between 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm. This is to allow our Uniform Shop staff to assist in our Kindergarten and Year 7 orientation morning. If you have any questions, please contact the school so that we can assist you.

25.01.2022 SWIMMING CARNIVAL 2021 // Well, the rain held off and the sun came out for our swimming carnival! We are so proud of all our students who participated today. Keep an eye out for the announcement of the winning Tribe!

23.01.2022 EGG-PERIMENTS // 5P have recently been learning about how to make forces stronger or weaker. Using this knowledge, students had to design a parachute that would successfully carry an egg down to the ground from a high location without the egg breaking. The results? 8 out of the 11 groups successfully landed their eggs without a single crack. Unfortunately, 3 of our groups had a rather eggy mess to clean up afterwards.

22.01.2022 HSC PRACTICAL ASSESSMENTS // Congratulations to all our Year 12 students who have now officially completed all their practical assessments for their HSC. This week both our D&T and Visual Arts students submitted their Bodies of Work for marking. For some of these students, these works were the second or third practical works they completed for their HSC!

20.01.2022 PRIMARY BOOK FAIR 2020 // Good news! The Scholastic Book Fair is still happening at RPCS! This year it will take place on Friday, 11 September. Students will be given a sneak peek of the books early next week and provide parents with a 'wish list'. With parents currently not allowed on school grounds, we highly encourage you to make online payments of any books your child wishes to purchase. More details will be provided closer to the date.

19.01.2022 OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD // We are excited to announce that we are once again partnering with Operation Christmas Child in spreading joy and the gospel to children around the world. We were blessed last year to have one of our staff members participate in delivering Christmas boxes in Chile and experience first hand the joy and happiness your boxes bring. 18.01.2022 THE UNIFORM SHOP // These school holidays are the perfect time to make sure that your child's summer uniform is fitting correctly. Our Uniform Shop will only be open on Friday, 9 October. 17.01.2022 SCHOOL CLOSURE THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 3 Regents Park Christian School is working closely with NSW Health to ensure the best precautions are in place to protect students and staff in our school from COVID-19. As expected by medical authorities, cases of local community transfer of the virus have occurred in NSW. The school has been informed late Wednesday that a person associated with the school has tested positive for COVID-19 . This person, for privacy reasons, cannot be identi...fied. Students, their families and staff have been informed of the infection, and the school is working closely with NSW Health to ensure they receive appropriate medical support. Information about the operational status of Regents Park Christian School is being provided to parents, students and staff through the school’s usual information channels. The school will continue working with NSW Health to ensure strategies are in place to address developments in the COVID-19 situation. We were blessed with perfect weather, helpful parents and the most incredible group of teachers our students could have asked for. We can not wait to hear all about everyone’s adventures over the next few days in the classroom.

14.01.2022 WELCOME TO RPCS // This morning we will welcome our 2021 Kindergarten and Year 7 students for their first orientation morning. We can not wait to get to know each of our incoming students and pray that today is enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

14.01.2022 PRIMARY FATHERS' DAY STALL // This Wednesday, the Primary will be holding a Fathers' Day gift stall. Please make sure your child brings money to purchase a gift for their father and grandfather from the stall.

10.01.2022 Regents Park Christian School was fortunate to have two teachers awarded The Teachers' Guild of New South Wales, World Teachers’ Recognition Award! Today, we hope that you’ll read on and join us in celebrating a special achievement of one of our English and Languages Co-ordinator, Richard Warren. In a career spanning nearly 40 years, Richard has achieved much. From his beginnings as a Primary School Teacher, right through to becoming a Deputy Principal overseeing the Secondary department at a Sydney Christian College, Richard’s career is a testament to his love of teaching and his passion for helping his students. 08.01.2022 FOOD TECHNOLOGY // Our Year 9 students have been studying Food Service and Catering. After a term of healthy and nutritious food, we have been indulging in some fancy feasting including Poached Pears with Chocolate Ganache and Toffee, and Baked Croissant Custard with strawberries, chocolate and double cream topped with roasted pistachios. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it.

07.01.2022 PRIMARY ROBOTICS CLUB // Did you know that at RPCS we have a Robotics Club? Every Tuesday lunchtime, a group of 15 Stage 3 students come together to explore the incredible world of coding using little robots called Spheros. Working in small groups, students work through a challenging checklist that requires them to create codes to direct the Spheros to complete those tasks.

07.01.2022 HSC DRAMA PRACTICAL EXAM // Today our Year 12 Drama class will be presenting their Drama performances for their HSC. This is the first of a few practical HSC assessments that will be taking place over the next few weeks. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers today.
