25.01.2022 Stronger Communities Programme Round 6 The Stronger Communities Programme provides each of the 151 Federal electorates with $150,000 to fund small capital projects. These projects aim to improve local community participation and contribute to vibrant viable communities. Federal Members of Parliament (MPs) identify potential projects and invite applications from their electorate. Open date: 19 Jan 2021 10:00 AM AEDT.... Close date: 22 Mar 2021 05:00 PM AEDT. What do you get? Up to $20,000 of funding for capital projects. Who is this for? Applicants invited to apply by their local MP. The Stronger Communities Programme supports the Australian Government’s commitment to deliver social benefits in communities across Australia. Round 6 of the program will provide $22.65 million to fund small capital projects in each of the 151 federal electorates. The program intends to encourage and support participation in local projects, improve local community participation and contribute to vibrant and viable communities. Round 6 of the program will continue to support Australia’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. For this special round, grant funding will be up to 100 per cent of eligible project costs except for local governing bodies where grant funding will be up to 50 per cent of eligible project costs. Community consultation is a critical element of the program. In consultation with their community, each MP must identify potential applicants and projects in their electorate and invite them to apply for a grant. Invited applications will be assessed against the program’s eligibility criteria through a closed non-competitive process. Each electorate has total funding of up to $150,000 that can be allocated to successful applications. 21.01.2022 NSW Office of Sport - Regional Sport Facility Fund Closes: 26th of February 2021 - 5:00 pm - $100,000 to $1 Million This fund will assist eligible organisations to develop quality core sport infrastructure that will meet the current and future needs of the community.... The Fund will support the development of well-designed and utilised new and improved sport infrastructure projects that can directly impact and support participation and performance opportunities in sports at all levels. The Fund will focus on sporting facilities that deliver the best outcomes for the community. It will ensure that the best possible value for money is achieved. The key objectives of the Fund are to: increase the number and type of sporting facilities; improve the standard of existing sporting facilities; increase participation in sport. A total pool of $25M has been allocated for this first round.

14.01.2022 Community Child Care Fund - Open Competitive Round - Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment Grant closes 22nd of February 2021 - 11:00 am - $2,000 to $200,000 The objective of this grant opportunity is to support the longer-term sustainability of eligible ECEC services operating in, or servicing, disadvantaged and vulnerable communities, particularly those in regional, rural and remote areas.... This grant opportunity will provide funding under three categories, called program ‘elements’. Each element intends to fund a specific type of activity. The elements are (in order of grant funding priority): Sustainability Support ($2,000 to $200,000) - helping eligible child care services operating in areas of limited supply improve the viability and sustainability of their service. Community Support ($5,000 to $100,000) - helping eligible child care services to work with other organisations and families to identify and address community level barriers to child care participation. The engagement must ultimately result in increased child care participation. Capital Support ($50,000 to $150,000) - helping eligible child care services by contributing towards the cost of modifying, renovating, extending or building child care facilities (‘capital works’). These capital works must result in more child care places in areas where there is unmet demand. You may apply for one or more element per service, however only one application per element per service is allowed. 05.01.2022 NSW COVID-19 Cross Border Sport Fund - $1000 The COVID-19 Cross Border Sport Fund is part of the NSW Government’s Community Sport Recovery Package, specifically targeting NSW border grassroot clubs and associations that have been impacted by COVID-19. The COVID-19 Cross Border Sports Fund will support NSW based clubs and associations that are affiliated with a state level sporting organisation or association recognised in another State/Territory, that were not eligible to re...ceive funding under the Grassroots Sport Fund. This is restricted to those clubs that are affiliated to an interstate organisation that is the equivalent of a SSO or SSOD recognised by the NSW Government. The type of sport must be recognised in NSW. Applications Open: Friday, 13 November 2020 Applications Close: Tuesday,15 December 2020 Funding available Up to $400,000 will be available under the Fund. Eligible applicants will be able to receive up to $1,000, to assist organisations with fixed costs incurred between March and June 2020, where they have not already received financial assistance or relief from local, state or Commonwealth governments or others such as a NSW SSO or SSOD.
