19.01.2022 This past fortnight the children have been learning all about the importance of sun safety. They made an amazing display on our boards which they’ve used to remind us daily of what we need to do aswell as checking the UV Rating so don’t forget to Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek and Slide before you play outside!
16.01.2022 Our little artists this afternoon. I think more went on them than the paper
16.01.2022 Our week On Tuesday the children asked for the musical instruments. They all picked an instrument and made a show for the educators. The Pre-Kindy children made an obstacle course on Wednesday. You should’ve heard the giggles coming from the tunnel!!! On Thursday we had lots of water play to keep cool. (Don’t forget to pack spare clothes). And to end the week on Friday we made paper aeroplanes and had races with them

11.01.2022 There’s no better way to cool down than with icy poles!
08.01.2022 With the weather warming up we’ve been having lots of water play this week to keep cool. They children have worked together using the trucks to make road works and loved having blue water. Miss Sue helped out this week and taught the children how to make coloured sand which was a huge hit with the children using animals to make a farm. We also setup open ended art experiences by wrapping the table in paper and giving the children a range of materials to choose from as well as foil painting (so easy to clean up!).
08.01.2022 Would you like to buy something from our shop? The children are loving our new cash register to engage in imaginative play. They gathered toys from around the room that they used to sell to each other. They also used the register and play food to open a restaurant
07.01.2022 Our surprise visitors this morning spoilt us with some new farm toys and we absolutely love them! Thankyou Jadyen and the Ag Implements team for your amazing donation!
06.01.2022 How fantastic is this free event from the Cunderdin shire
03.01.2022 The children have been watching the trucks unload their grain at cbh and began asking questions. Today we taught the children what was happening at cbh and what we can make with wheat growing in the paddocks. They made a very impressive load of bread which we topped off with butter and vegemite/jam.
03.01.2022 Today was our last Pre - K session for the term. The children learnt about where germs come from, how to wash their hands correctly and how we can prevent the spread of germs. They watched Operation Ouch: Sneeze test which they said was ‘really gross!’. They also participated in a science activity using water, glitter and dishwashing liquid to see how soap washes away our germs. For free play they requested cutting and glueing. During this activity they practiced scissor safety and worked on their scissor skills.
