25.01.2022 Due to a high demand for awesome Support Workers we are recruiting again. We have a young lady who has just recently relocated to the Copper Coast and she would... like her NDIS Support worker to be female and in her 20s to 30s with an interest in community events , shopping and going to the beach. You will need to have a current DCSI police clearance , or willing to get one, current first aid and Cert 111 in individual support or equivalent. 22.01.2022 What a day, would love to put some before and after photos however due to privacy that’s not possible. House clean doesn’t even come close. Truck load of rubbish and three of us scrubbing inside. Two outside working to clear the yard. It takes a team to get results.

19.01.2022 COVID - 19. Regional DisAbility Support Services have put in extra measures to ensure the safety of all clients and staff. We have cancelled all group activities and are only providing 1:1 support if required. Any non urgent travel out side of the community has also been suspended. Clients, staff, carers and allied health professionals are all working together to ensure social distancing is adhered to in accordance with government regulations. 18.01.2022 Motorized platform transforms a manual wheelchair into an off-road vehicle that can traverse sand, snow, gravel and mud.

18.01.2022 Regional DisAbility Support Services ( RDSS) are taking bookings for short term accommodation at Hay Street for NDIS participants. What is provided - 1:1 support by qualified support staff, activities tailored to each individual : eg: swimming, cooking , art, feeding animals. RDSS has a fully functional house that provides a safe home environment. RDSS have a range of animals that participants help to look after if they want. MEALS are provided and are planned with each individual - eg: gluten free. Participants are given the opportunity to develop their own shopping list and then go shopping with support staff, this helps build capacity around healthy choices and decision making.
