24.01.2022 COFFEE INSTITUTE - Walkerville - Adelaide It pays to have some local knowledge when dining in places you have never been before. Loved Coffee Institute in Walkerville, Adelaide. It was just a walk from where I was staying. The best coffees, and sensational breakfast. Thanks Mary! Would have been quite happy to graze my way through this breakfast menu - everything looked awesome!... This was the Corn Zucchini Fritters with a capsicum avocado salsa, feta and poached eggs - and it tasted as good as it looked. See more

11.01.2022 Our little Super Heroes of the wild Spent some time with Chris from Kin Kin Native Bees. Love the work he is doing with native bees. I could spend hours watching these girls flying out of their hives only to return laden with pollen in their little sacks. Their hives are a work of art.
10.01.2022 PETER RABBIT Adelaide - South Australia What a fabulous little space. Peter Rabbut was a chance find. An urban space in the middle of the buildings on Hindley Street, just across from the uni. Loved the way it was a mass of greenery. We were there for breaky, but I could see myself whiling away quite a bit of time here if I had longer to while away!Great nourishing food.

08.01.2022 TOPIARY - Tea Tree Gully - Adelaide - South Australia Whenever I go away, I always like to have at least one really special lunch or dinner. And while we had many, I would like to make a special mention of the amazing lunch we had at Topiary at Newman's Nursery in Tea Tree Gully, Adelaide.... Wow, what an enjoyable afternoon, grazing our way through the seasonal Tasting Menu. Kane Pollard is an extraordinary chef and created a sensory delight which had us oohing and ahhhing at every course. It was the perfect blend of seasonal and foraged foods, much of it locally grown or produced, prepared beautifully, with a no waste, nose-to-tail ethos approach to all of their dishes. Each dish an incredible combination of textures and flavours - all of it looked divine and tasted delicious! This menu changes frequently, but I am sure whatever is taking its place will be equally brilliant. It was a few weeks ago now, but I will post a few of my favourites - it was all sensational!
