22.01.2022 Farms cant operate according to lines on a map. . Restricting movement between communities with zero cases of Covid-19 is illogical and damaging our food supply chains. . A sensible risk based national approach is the way to ensure farmers like Victorias Emma and Sean Kennedy, of Kennedy Farm Produce, continue to keep regional Australia growing.... . AustralianFarmers is calling on Government to put politics aside and agree on a solution that provides certainty for agricultural movement during the pandemic. We met Emma and Sean when they took part in our Murray series of #agritourismbusinessdevelopmentprograms in 2018. See Emmas heartbreaking post below . Posted @withregram @kennedyfarmproduce Harvest Pending Crops are looking beautiful Harvest is swiftly approaching. So #disheartening however that we still cannot travel to our property in NSWWe are waiting for approval as our farm is quote not in the border region or border buffer for agricultural critical services What a compliment for the work we do Also disheartening when you do not feel heard or valued. 16.01.2022 The hemp grains industry in NSW has only really started getting some momentum in the last two years, yet its one plant with three very good uses food, fibre..., and medicine, Vacy farmer Bob Doyle told The Farmer magazine Drought as well as a lack of research and development has held back the re-emergence of the hemp industry in NSW, but there are plans afoot to reshape hemp as a serious contender for cropping farmers. As a grain crop, it has a lot of potential in NSW, Bob says. "Australian farmers are very good and precise at growing grain crops, so it would be relatively easy to transition into growing hemp. Could industrial hemp be a serious contender for broadacre cropping in NSW? read more https://thefarmermagazine.com.au/hemp-industry-set-to-thri/ Join NSW Farmers at https://bit.ly/2GI7arQ and get The Farmer magazine delivered for free. 14.01.2022 When life gives you lemons make chai tea, lattes and smoothies says Australian Tourism Award winner and Blue Ginger Picnics founder Tania Usher who participated in Regionalitys #agritourismbusinessdevelopmentprograms in the Tweed earlier last year. . When Covid-19 restrictions were set in place, Tania had more time to focus on her own home blend of chai that friends and family told her was better than anything they could find in stores or online. Tania finally took everyone...s advice (including that of her greatest fan, husband Steve) and My Daily Chai was born! Tanias caffeine free, organic chai powder contains hormone balancing herbs, no sweeteners and is vegan friendly. . Posted @withregram @mydailychai In support of Womens Health Week, were sharing a series of posts over the next few days to help keep you (and your hormones) happy. In the crazy buzz of daily life, its often difficult to make good health a priority. Yet, small changes can make a big difference to your physical and mental wellbeing. When I adopted a morning routine to help calm my nervous system, my days ran smoother. As progesterone starts declining in peri-menopause, its harder for your body to manage stress. So soothing your system, from the inside, becomes more important as you age. Of course, reducing stress is important at any age, yet managing it becomes more difficult as your hormones start changing when you hit 40. Its why I created the guide for you "7 Simple Steps to Boost Your Energy & Balance Hormones" which you can download from the website, link in bio. Experience how a simple morning ritual flushes out toxins, cleanses your digestive tract, boosts metabolism, balances hormones and calms your nervous system. Theres no better time for putting your health first, than Womens Health Week. Its a reminder to check in on your health and make positive changes that can last a lifetime. Watch out for posts this week to help with your sleep, energy, cravings, mood swings and mental wellbeing. . . . . #chai #organicchai #womenshealthweek #australianwomenshealth #businessdevelopment #businessmentoring #regionalaustralia #regionalnsw #organicsupplement #caf

12.01.2022 Bees are vital to our food security but the industry has recently faced more challenges with not only the impact of drought but bushfire and Covid-19. . The Australian Honey Bee Industry Council is about to launch a plan to rebuild and secure the future of commercial bee keeping and pollination services but @agrifuturesau managing director, John Harvey, says the plan will need the full backing of state and federal government in order to succeed. . Focusing on research to imp...rove and optimise hive management, the initiative will also look at improving the understanding of native flora as assets for the industry. . Improved access to public lands is one step toward securing the future of honeybee and pollination services. Another is by supporting the work of award winning regional beekeepers like Jason and Natasha Roebig, owners of @beeallnaturalau. . Natasha and Jason produce delicious organic honey and operate a bee nursery and commercial beekeeping shed on their Jimboomba property. They believe its important to work with farmers in terms of making sure crop dusting and other pest control measures are good for the health of bees. 09.01.2022 We help support farming and food communities to explore their potential, guiding them through the process of taking an idea and converting it into a profitable business innovation. . Workshops are an important element. A highlight for us is getting to know communities as we explore innovation and diversification options with our program participants. . We pinpoint the potential of regional businesses to develop agritourism and regional food systems enabling a greater supply, ...distribution and sale of fresh, seasonal and value added produce locally and beyond. .
