Throwback Thursday to Winter 2015 when we found that there were more emus than people running around the little village of Tooraweenah, thanks to the efforts of Phil and Penny Henley who have an affinity with the big bird . Phil and Penny own Emu Logic, an Australian family run farm business.... In addition to the emu products they sell which include meat, emu oil, soaps, lip balms, emu feathers, hides and eggs, they open their property to inquisitive travellers and school groups - anyone that would like to learn more about their emu business. They are open Fridays and Saturdays 10am-4pm. (call ahead to book a spot). . We look after our emus with care, right from the time the eggs hatch through to when they become adult birds.
