Its a lovely piece and they are wonderful people. Great to hear Alex and Michael Hicks and their 'Extraordinary Pork)' operation get a strong mention in the interview too!

The design is no longer reflected in its entirety in this update as some changes were made to the original design from 2016 (see 3rd slide) on which this update was based and we also exercised personal discretion to an extent during the updates. 07.01.2022 Plant Health Monitoring at McIvor Farm Foods (Tooborac, VIC, AU) We have working with the team at McIvor Farm Foods for over a decade helping them with their #FarmPlanning work. Following the 'Planning for Sustainable Animal Industries' reforms process that we and other industry leaders were involved with (most notably the Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance) and the guidelines that followed, we recommended to the team at McIvor that we work together to start monitoring gro...und cover levels/changes by conducting regular UAV flightsusing a consumable DJI Australia and New Zealand Mavic Pro with flight planning and processing by DroneDeploy. In all of our broad travels around the world we have seen many #pasturedpig projects and we have laid the claim that McIvor is the leading pastured pig producer in the world (that we have seen). This monitoring, along with what we can see, touch, feel and smell, backs this up and we are so stoked for Belinda, Jason, Hannah, Eric and their whole team that their landscape goals are being realised by their fantastic care and management. This dedicated hard work and management has been supported by using the Yeomans Plow Co #SuperPlow to regularly sow #MixedSpeciesPastureCrops (thanks to Colin Seis and Handfortheland): many km of #KiwiTech fencing and water infrastructureall of which follows #TheKeylinePlan geometry; and #HolisticManagement grazing planning principles outlined by the Savory Institute and Holistic Management International.
