(conditions apply) We are after YOUR input into how YOU want to see the hill developed into the future. Come to the special meeting for this project! Tuesday 8th September, Batlow RSL, 7PM! 12.01.2022 THE DAY AFTER... THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE... One year ago today...I experienced my first & hopefully last bushfire. (More like a firestorm on multiple sides of ...our beloved town and district.) At the time, I was truly amazed that Jack came back two days before that dreadful day, when I was feeling pretty down & trying to be brave in the face of what was coming. Man. What a day. (What a year...) Again...a HUGE thank you to all the RFS volunteer men & woman, the water bombers, the town firies, the forestry folks, the national parks workers, the town folks who stayed to defend, and everyone else who helped on Batlow’s darkest day whether fighting here on the ground, in the air or those of you all over the nation & the world who were on your knees in prayer. Thank you! Above all, I acknowledge The Almighty for the grace and strength He gave to us through that difficult time. And to all the AMAZING support we have been given by beautiful people from all over on our road to recovery. Thank you all so so much! Thanks again Jack Charles for being a true blue mate at that terrible time. We did our best. We all did. I am so grateful for what was saved. And for those who have lost so much... we have grieved and wept with you for all your losses. This new year, let’s all do our best to move onward with possibly the greatest and most powerful of all commodities... Love. #regrowbatlow

I would share these special blooms with you all again, so you can sit under its boughs also and breathe in some pink positivity! 09.01.2022 To Batlow community, I am currently planning to buy and build a playground area for my daycare backyard, and so I am organising fund-raisers to make mine and th...e children's dream come true! I am seeking expression of interest in this bus trip to see if we would be able to meet the number of seat tickets needed to go. Please comment or message me to let me know if you, someone in your family, or a friend you know, would be excited to go! We would need to fill 45 bus seats in order to make this fund-raiser happen! $50 a ticket for the day We will be visiting farmers market, handmade markets and the belconnen shopping centre for retail therapy! If the expression of interest goes well, then tickets will be available to buy soon! Bus trip to Canberra Saturday 26th June 2021

We talked about the potential plans to turn Weemala (Batlow Hill) into something that will benefit different hobbies and activities. Fantastic ideas discussed! ...
