19.01.2022 Kari has been very lucky In her lifetime to be involved in Targa Tasmania as well as circuit racing. To be able follow race teams around crewing for them and mingling with the best of the best is pretty special. Staying in hotels around tasmania and flying through the stages with her dad to get to the other end before road closures to fuel cars before each stage begins. Very very early mornings and fast pace days.

02.01.2022 Kari’s destiny to be involved in motor sport Another side to Reids Motorsport is/was being involved in Targa Tasmania. This event is an eye opener- fast paced , rubbing shoulders with no expense spared race teams, expensive fast cars, meeting the likes of famous faces, learning new crafts, enjoying some historic rides, and learning from seasoned drivers from all over the world.. we have had the pleasure of crewing for Pitt family & philip & Mary - being able to support other... teams with helping out when in need ( which was often) Seeing tasmania state wide as we endeavoured to be on the other side of the fuel stops prior to road closures, sometimes this seen VERY early morning starts and some very skilled driving from damien with an empty trailer ( which we had to check arrived attached sometimes). We have celebrated highs and lows with many drivers, sometimes across the finishing line, sometimes on the back of tow trucks.. it’s anyone’s luck on the day. We feel honoured to have been part of such an amazing event and hope to one day return to the sport. Huge highlight is seeing the smile on the kids faces, and I think many agree, we love seeing this in any form of racing dirt or circuit cheers Lawrie & Pitty & philip & Mary & many many more for the awesome memories that pop up!
