25.01.2022 Mike and Paul (Zorny) went for a trip to Corroboree bilabong last week and got plenty of saratoga and Mike landed a small barra on a #reidyslures Little Lucifer and the leader was none other than #Schneiderfishinglines leader Super Schneider Fishing Lines

21.01.2022 Had an awesome trip to Kakadu recently. Karen and I along with Dianne and Paul Zorn took the Reidy’s boat to Yellow waters fishing on sunset. We stayed at the Cooinda Lodge Kakadu where I must say the staff and lodge were amasing. The first night we landed 12 Barra with the score being 5 to Zorny , 1 to Karen and 6 to me (Colin) . Karen landed the biggest a 65cm model. We were casting and then as the night set in we trolled. The most successful lures were a gold #reidyslures Reidy’s Rubber 4 inch which I cast and trolled, the black widow coloured B52 that Karen and Zorny used. We were all using Super Schneider Fishing Lines leader (Flurocarbon) and #Schneider braid (more info on the braid to come!!!!). Dianne was the Judge and referee lol. More to come

20.01.2022 Zorny ventured to the Mary River a couple of nights back and landed this 91cm barra on a gold #reidyslures Little Lucifer and was using Schneider Braid 30lb and #schneiderfishinglines flurocarbon leader in 50lb. Zorny said; Caught the 91 on 30lb braid you gave me to try. Leader is 50lb Schneider fluorocarbon. Had to pull fish out of snag so put a lot of hurt it then it got between the motor and boat. Unlucky fish really but line held up great. Good trial for the braid! The lure was a gold Little lucifer

16.01.2022 We have a new addition to the Reidy’s factory for printing our lures. We can now print coolers, bottles and many other products with time permitting. The crew have been learning the new UV printer by printing coolers like Yetis, 360s etc so check out the pics and videos. Personalise your cooler with name, boat name, kids pics or basically any high res image and even your wedding photos.... Price starts from $34.95 each product and is an ink print not engraved so there should be no warranty issues but check with your stockist. As I said images must be supplied high res or you may incur further costs. We can do odd shapes so basically they must be horizontally straight but ask us for info. 11.01.2022 Peter sent in an email about a recent trip on a TOP END Billabong using #reidyslures Little Lucifer and #schneiderlines Braid. Pete said; I used Schneider braid Col it's quality stuff. This fish wrapped me up deep in the Lilly's and I was looking like losing, but the braid held out and ripped straight through it! Super tough, will be re-braiding my mackerel outfits with it. The little lucifer has the perfect action to tweak past the grass line, it looks like it's going to get... smashed every cast. Certainly makes the long days out at the billabongs fun. This fish went 65cm and was released. See more

08.01.2022 Mitchell sent in a post about catching a 90cm chrome barra on a #reidyslures Big Ass B52 in gold colour. Mitchell wrote; caught a massive Barra on the gold big ass B52, some amazing lures for territory conditions! Now my new favourite and will definitely be getting some more, thank you!!

06.01.2022 Went for an overnight trip to the Daly on Monday with Zorny and caught a couple of chunky barra. Zorny was using the #reidyslures Little Lucifer in gold colour and landed a 62cm whilst I used my trusty #reidyslures 4 inch rubber with a stinger hook attached to the belly. We were using #Schneiderfishinglines Braid and flurocarbon leader. We had a few hits but was quiet although we heard there were a few good fish landed at Bamboo (landbased). One of our staff Monika and her hu...bby Roger were fishing there and caught a couple on Reidys Weedies rubbers. Zorny and I would like to give a huge thanks to Kerri and Wally at the Banyan Farm - Daly River for their hospitality as usual. It was also great to sit down and have a chat to Kerri as the rain came down. Hopefully the rain continues as most creeks were running dirty with a lot of built up dirt from previous low wet season rains. H See more

05.01.2022 Paul sent me an email of his first barra caught on a #reidyslures B52. Paul wrote; Hope your settling in to the new premises and all going well, Love the Reidys Lures, first Barra (101cm) was on a Reidy and have it hanging proudly with the Photo taken that great day! I’ve been using Reidys before then and have been using the Big Ass on Kings with some great success, all over 8kg and last count around 26 this past couple of months.

01.01.2022 Some Fantastic news!!!!!!!! Colin, Karen and the team at Reidys Lures Australia are excited to announce we have purchased the iconic Super Schneider Fishing Lines business from Kim and Jacki down in Sydney. This company and business was started way back in 1950 and celebrates 70 years this year in providing quality fishing line to the tackle industry. We have been in negotiations for a while now and things looked on edge with the Covid-19 entering Australia along with the unc...ertain future. But with knowledge and support we could not pass up this fantastic opportunity. The majority of anglers commercial and amateur have heard of the Schneider name and we know there are some long time loyal followers. We want to say thanks to Kim and Jac for trusting us to carry firstly the ground work that founder John Unger did in setting up this business but then for their Mum and Dad to purchase and enhance the name. We will never forget the work all those before us have put in to make this brand one of Australia's well known quality fishing line. Nothing will change except that all the operations will be moved to the Reidys Lures factory in Berrimah NT a suburb of Darwin.
