11.01.2022 The force of the precepts A lot of outer circumstances we can not change, but we can change our reaction to it, that is why we practice the meditations and the... chanting. What does this chanting and meditation to us, we become more openminded, when we are more openminded we can start to accomodate more. Just see it as a small room, in a small room we can only accomodate so much, but in a bigger room, more open, we can accomodate much more. Now image that you one day realize that your mind is as open as the universe, now we can accomodate everything and we cease to be worried. I love this teaching from the Dalai Lama: If a problem is fixable, if a situation is such that you can do something about it, then there is no need to worry. If it's not fixable, then there is no help in worrying. There is no benefit in worrying whatsoever. Love Frans International House of Reiki
