13.01.2022 The paperback version of Sue Lake-Harris's book 'Hands On - What it’s really like to take the plunge and become a Professional Reiki Practitioner in Australia',... is being delivered tomorrow. It's essential reading for anyone already in Reiki practice, or thinking about starting one, as it covers the important aspects of legislative compliance in Australia, as well as getting right into the minutiae of excellence in client service. If you're interested, in receiving a signed copy, send a message! It will be cheaper than buying it via Amazon or similar, AND it's printed right here in Australia using sustainable resources.
05.01.2022 Did you know it's a legal requirement for a Reiki teacher or practitioner to be able to provide first aid to students and/or clients? Our teacher has just completed her first aid refresher training, which must be done every three years to remain current. She also attends annual CPR training. Sue thinks the training is helpful whether in a Reiki seminar context or not. "You never know when you might come across a situation where you need first aid - a car accident, a knife cut while preparing vegies, sunstroke - it's good to know what to do." **Photo by Diana Polekhina on Unsplash**
04.01.2022 Our free Reiki taste-test sessions are coming up again on July 25th, so if you missed out last time, send a message to get yourself booked in for a 45 minute session. Limited appointments available.
02.01.2022 It seems things are improving on the seminar front for the Network - Sue is booked in to teach again in Melbourne in October - a Free Preview, followed by Reiki 1, then Reiki II. And enquiries from people in and around Adelaide have increased, so the search is on for an appropriate venue and dates. Canberra people are lucky we were able to confirm venues and dates early in the piece - looking forward to the Transformation Weekend Residential and Reiki II on the Central Coast ...in August, then Reiki 1 in September, with our final seminar in November. Don't forget to pop in regularly to see other events such as review/reunion dates, World Service, and an end-of-year "party".
