21.01.2022 Great infornation on ATP/ADP our primary energy carrying molecules. For ATP production we need Oxygen. One of the issues we face as we try to fight fatigue, is ...oxygen depletion. Its not because we are not breathing in enough air and oxygen, but oxygen isnt entering the red blood cells or once inside the red cell Oxygen cannot bind to hemoglobin. This creates a hypoxic state and oxygen transport to all tissue is impaired. Primary cause for poor oxygenation is Oxidation and Oxidative Stress. Oxidative Stress occurs due to chemical overload in blood and liver.

15.01.2022 Below are some images of the fires raging on the Sunshine Coast, particularly in the Peregian and Peregian Springs area. Please send Reiki and prayers to those effected by these fires and the crews working tirelessly to contain the fires. Also send to the animals and wildlife effected during this time. The situation is still very volatile and depends on changes in the wind direction and if the fires are able to be brought under control. Where I live it is safe at the moment b...ut this could change if the fires are not brought under control and the wind strengthens and changes direction. Thank you to all of those who have sent messages and texts with your concerns. We are in a watch and be prepared situation. Many people have offered accommodation to those who have had to evacuate and it's wonderful to see the support given in the community. See more

12.01.2022 Some quiet time on Balmoral beach this morning - doing the Buddho Chi Nadi exercises and 3 Cycle meditation. I did a lot of my Buddho training with Ranga on this lovely beach!

As I began to love myself I found that anguish ...and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth. Today, I know, this is Authenticity. As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody if I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this person was me. Today I call this Respect. As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life, and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow. Today I call this Maturity. As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance, I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens at the exactly right moment. So I could be calm. Today I call this Self-Confidence. As I began to love myself I quit stealing my own time, and I stopped designing huge projects for the future. Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm. Today I call this Simplicity. As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew me down and away from myself. At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism. Today I know it is Love of Oneself. As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right, and ever since I was wrong less of the time. Today I discovered that is Modesty. As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past and worrying about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where everything is happening. Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it Fulfillment. As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick. But as I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this connection Wisdom of the Heart. We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others. Even stars collide, and out of their crashing, new worlds are born. Today I know: This is Life!

02.01.2022 We had a wonderful weekend sharing Reiki at the Conscious Living Festival in Kawana on the Sunshine Coast!

02.01.2022 It's wonderful to be back in Townsville to teach which is where my Reiki journey began - and changed my whole life! I came to live here in the late 70's and received my first Reiki treatment here! I then attended 1st & 2nd Stage workshops and most of my Reiki master training was here too. I was initiated as a master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho System of Healing by Larry Lynes in 1990 and taught my first Reiki workshop in Townsville that year! I will be teaching a 1st Stage Reiki workshop here this weekend which will be very nostalgic as this is where it all began! if you know of anyone in Townsville who may be interested in learning more about Reiki Jin Kei do which is what I now teach, tomorrow night is a Free Introduction night!
