16.01.2022 LinkedIn banner - Reiko the trainer For people who don't know me so well, my day job involves standing up in front of groups of people and teaching them things. Here is another post where my day job has intersected with my passion for illustration. So for the past several years I've been using a random pattern I designed for my LinkedIn profile banner. I was updating some details on it one day, then I thought to myself. "This is a perfect illustration opportunity for you Rei...ko." I of course, always talk to myself about myself in the third person. So I went about creating an illustration to highlight my training skills. I tried to limit my colours to give it a very strong graphic look. Quite happy with the result. Scroll for the lineart and rough sketch. 03.01.2022 Vicky's card - The perfect perch A very late-given card to the most loveliest of sisters one could ask for. She absolutely adores kookaburras and craft beer, so of course I had to find a way to combine the two. She loves bright colours, so I decided not to go the traditional kookaburra colours and went for something a bit more exotic. For some reason orange was the colour of choice.
