25.01.2022 Working with Schools Infrastructure NSW, our Sydney RFM (Refurbishment, Fitout and Maintenance) has completed another access upgrade and planned maintenance project for Ingleburn High School. The completed project provides accessibility to current and future students throughout the existing school amenities / classrooms. The scope of works included a new passenger lift, new platform stair lift, new facade works and planned maintenance works to multiple areas within the school. On this Design and Construct project we worked with Shakeup Architecture.

25.01.2022 Working with TCB project management and NBRS Architecture, Reitsma has been awarded the Central Coast Steiner School at Fountaindale. Works involve the alterations and additions to an existing building for a new staff facility. Works to commence on site later this month.

24.01.2022 Working with Imagine Childcare, our South Coast NSW team has completed a brand new early education centre at Nowra. The project features outdoor playgrounds, five playrooms, nursery rooms, sleep room, kitchen, laundry, administration offices and a thirty bay car park.

23.01.2022 Well done to the Newcastle team on completing the Club Old Bar Motel project at Old Bar, NSW. The project involved construction of a new 26 bedroom motel including reception area, gym, laundry, common areas and carpark. Working with SHAC Architects and Club Old Bar, this is another great project the Newcastle team have delivered on the NSW mid north coast.

22.01.2022 Reitsma has been awarded the refurbishment contract of the existing heritage University House located on Newcastle City Campus. The project consists of demolition of the existing offices for new office spaces, new accessible ramp and electrical upgrades. The new offices will accommodate creative industries and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students. Another great tertiary and heritage project by the Newcastle office working with the University of Newcastle.

22.01.2022 Great to see the completed photos of the Salvation Army Rouse Hill Corps at Nelson NSW. On this community project we worked alongside Donald Cant Watts Corke(DCWC) and Constructive Dialog Architects. Reitsma was engaged to construct a brand new church facility, ancillary building, courtyard carpark, along with site infrastructure works for the Salvos Norwest Region.

22.01.2022 Great to see the completed photos of Stage 1 works at OLQP Primary Greystanes. An innovative and exciting design by DTA Architects, the project involved demolition of the existing classrooms and construction of a two storey building featuring GLA's, breakout and creative spaces, genius hubs, library, cafe and external learning street. The building will provide contemporary methods of learning with technology and touch interfaces, plenty of custom seating and storage joinery, ...pinboards throughout and happy day booths which add to the student’s overall learning environment. Outside the building includes a number of architectural feature elements, including various cladding systems, skylights, a slide, full-height glazing windows, learning street areas and playground spaces which will connect the existing school to the new junior school development. 21.01.2022 Great to see the progress at Domremy College, Five Dock. Working with Hayball Architects and Impact Group this large school redevelopment is due for completion later this year. Another great Education project being delivered for Sydney Catholic Schools

21.01.2022 Our project for ARB at Seven Hills has made good progress. The concrete panels have been erected for the new showroom and workshop. Reitsma is working alongside Steve Swaine Project Management and Nordon Jago Architects on this Industrial project.

19.01.2022 The project team at the Salvation Army Rouse Hill Corps - Nelson has made great progress with the worship hall, courtyard, commercial kitchen and landscaping. The brickwork, awning and decking are almost completed as well to the courtyard, and entrance. The stage has commenced construction along with painting, lighting and audio-visual installation to the hall. Reitsma is working with Donald Cant Watts Corke(DCWC), Constructive Dialog Architects and the Salvation Army Corps.

19.01.2022 The school community got the first glimpse of the new school building as the scaffolding removal commenced at OLQP, Greystanes. The architectural facade has a number cladding systems, masonry, full-height glazing windows, a large balcony and a learning street area. The project team is also making great progress with internal areas. The joinery, flooring, happy day booths and pin boards are installed. In the coming weeks the landscaping and external works will begin to take shape and connect the existing school to the new school building. Great to be working with DTA Architects and Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta on this great Educational project.

18.01.2022 Demolition works are well underway at Macarthur Anglican School, Cobbitty. Working with LMG Property and Mayoh Architects, Reitsma has commenced work on the new Integrated Study Centre project. Great to see another Educational project get started!

18.01.2022 Great to see the completed photos of Stanhope Anglican Church. Working with the Anglican Church Property Trust, Donald Cant Watts Corke Project Management and Silvester Fuller Architects, Reitsma was engaged to provide a brand new Church facility & carpark on the greenfield site. There are some impressive Architectural elements on this prominent corner block.

18.01.2022 The facade, external awning and internal reconfiguration is well underway at the Factory Church, Springwood. Reitsma RFM (Refurbishment, Fit-out and Maintenance) is working with CJ van Breda Architects and the Anglican Church Property Trust on this great church project.

17.01.2022 The Newcastle team is making great progress on the Design Building for the University of Newcastle. The new lift shaft, service rough-ins and wall linings are now commencing with the demolition and relocation of stairs completed. Reitsma is working alongside the University of Newcastle and Lahznimmo Architects on this Tertiary Education project.

17.01.2022 The seamless and beautiful Roden Perla and Moov Beige floor and wall tiles by Earp Bros, truly compliments the all new Club Old Bar Motel in Old Bar. 16.01.2022 Our South Coast NSW team has impressively completed its fourth automotive project on the south coast of NSW with the recently completed Illawarra Toyota Service at Albion Park Rail,NSW. The project involved upgrades to Toyotas new corporate identity along with fitout and facade upgrades, new offices, cafe, customer lounges, undercover drop area and reception desk. Reitsma worked with Centric Architects and Tony White Group on this project.

15.01.2022 Reitsma has been awarded the proposed new sports and external works upgrades for St Gregory’s College, Gregory Hills. The works include the construction of a new basketball court,new volleyball court, four new futsal courts, external pathways and landscaping. We are working with Bow Goold Architects on another great Education project for Reitsma.

15.01.2022 Great shot taken by one of the school parents at our project for St Brendans Primary School, Lake Munmorah. The scaffold is up and the structural steel is being erected for the new two storey educational facility. Reitsma is working with Glendenning Group Architects and the Catholic Schools Office of Broken Bay.

13.01.2022 Were really proud of our Contract Administrator, Abby, for her feature in this years Florence magazine published by Master Builders Association NSW. After starting off as a cadet in 2017, she is now a Contract Administrator and has recently completed her Bachelors in Construction Management. It was Abbys hard work, dedication and passion for her role in the construction industry that was worth recognition. Well done Abby!

13.01.2022 Working with NSW Department of Education School Infrastructure NSW, Sydney RFM has been awarded the access upgrade works for Riverside Girls High School. The works involve the construction of a new passenger lift, stairs and handrails. Another great project for our Sydney RFM team (Refurbishment, Fitout and Maintenance).

13.01.2022 The Sydney Reitsma RFM team has just been awarded the roof modifications and replacement works to Marian Catholic College Kenthurst. The project is due to start over the Christmas holidays. Another project working with Stanton Dahl Architects and Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta

12.01.2022 Reitsma RFM has been awarded the Mosman Swim Centre project. The scope of works includes alterations and additions throughout the swim centre comprising new tiling to floor, walls and ceilings throughout, electrical and mechanical upgrades, equipment upgrades and refurbishment of change rooms. Reitsma is working alongside MODE Design and Mosman Municipal Council on this great project.

11.01.2022 Reitsma have recently completed our project at St Brendan's Catholic School, Lake Munmorah. The project included an initial refurbishment of the existing library building, and then the construction of a new two-storey classroom building. The new space provides nine interconnecting classrooms, with central collaboration areas and tall clerestory ceilings. Reitsma worked with the Catholic Diocese Broken Bay, and Glendenning Szoboszlay Architects to successfully deliver this project.

11.01.2022 We would like to congratulate Liam Cox for being promoted to Newcastle Operations Manager for Major works. Liam has worked for Reitsma the past two years managing Central Coast Grammar, Steiner school and other Education projects around the Central Coast. Liam has recently been promoted to oversee the Newcastle and Central coast regions for all major works projects for Reitsma. The role encompasses both business development and overseeing project delivery.

11.01.2022 Reitsma is excited to work on another automotive project for McCarrolls Automotive Group with the all new Lexus showroom at Chatswood. This exciting new project involves refurbishment and fitout of the existing showroom to Lexuss new corporate identity along with facade upgrades, all new bespoke joinery for reception and lounge areas, new handover bays, new used and new car showroom and upgrades to the existing lift. This refurbishment and fitout project is due to commence on site soon. Watch this space for updates as it progresses. Designed by Centric Architects.

10.01.2022 Project update: The brand new, purpose built New Hope School at Dural is well underway. Civil works and piering are on going in prepartion for the construction of the building slabs and new car-parking areas. A large portion of the retaining walls are constructed using sandstone logs, which look fantastic. We are working with Pacific Hills Christian Education, EPM Project Management and NBRS Architecture. Another great education project for Reitsma to be working on. NBRS ARCHITECTURE

09.01.2022 Newcastle RFM ( Refurbishment, Fit-out & Maintenance ) has just been awarded two new projects. We have been awarded the access and ramp upgrades at Newcastle Airport, while over at Newcastle University we have been awarded the student accommodation upgrade works to the Barahineban College. Both works are due to commence on site next week. Well done to the Newcastle office in securing these new projects!

09.01.2022 Last week we visited our project at Salvation Army - Parramatta to congratulate Sean Starling on celebrating 20 years with Reitsma. Thank you Sean for your tremendous 20 years of service to Reitsma. Sean started with Reitsma as an apprentice carpenter and worked his way up to Site Management. Sean has become an integral part of many successful projects and such loyalty and dedication should not go unnoticed. From the entire team at Reitsma, thank you Sean! If you are a client, sub-contractor or supplier that has worked with Sean over the last two decades, please make sure you congratulate him.

08.01.2022 Great to see the completed photos of Warehouse Z at Sydney Markets, Homebush West. The project involved multiple stages / contracts including - a brand new cold storage facility, two storey office complex, fitout for Tess Fresh and a facade contract. The building includes various architectural features including 10m-13m high precast panels, various prefinished wall cladding and complex service reticulation of water, gas, drainage, refrigeration and electrical works for the cold storage and cooling rooms. Situated on Parramatta road, this new facility will be a great asset for the Sydney Markets precinct for years to come. Reitsma worked alongside Sydney Markets Limited and Koturic & Co Architects on this significant Industrial project.

07.01.2022 Working with The Salvation Army, Donald Cant Watts Corke and STUDIO 23 design, Reitsma has recently completed the refurbishment of the whole building at the Parramatta Corps. Situated on Church Street in north Parramatta, It involved demolition and reconfiguration of the first floor to construct a new 250 seat worship hall, new administration spaces, new cafe, commercial kitchen and indoor/outdoor children play areas. The building includes various architectural features including new skylights and cross on the roof, acoustic ceilings, unique carpet patterning and new glazing to the existing window and roof which provides plenty of natural light in the lobby that the church and community will enjoy for years to come. 06.01.2022 It is great to see the last stage of the building slab concrete pour being completed yesterday at ARB Corporation, Seven Hills NSW. The project team is now pushing ahead with the final pours of the concrete panel walls ready for erection later this month. Great to see another Design and Construct Industrial project being constructed by Reitsma. We are working with Steve Swaine Project Management and Nordon Jago Architects on this project.

06.01.2022 Newcastle RFM ( Refurbishment, Fit-out & Maintenance ) has been awarded Tumble Lounge, Kotara. Working again with Liv Johnson Design, works are to commence on site soon.

05.01.2022 Working with the University of Newcastle and SDA Architecture, Reitsma has been awarded the Science Teaching Labs project. The project involves the refurbishment of the existing labs for a brand new science facility. Works include new floor, wall and ceiling finishes along with joinery and service upgrades. Well done to the Newcastle team in securing another repeat project at the University.

Working with Donald Cant Watts Corke and Studio 23 Design, the $6 million project involved a new 250 seat worship hall, new administration spaces, new cafe, childrens outdoor play area and new commercial tenancies. Another great community project delivered by our Sydney team.

04.01.2022 We would like to congratulate Logan Lu on being the latest recipient of the Reitsma Recognition award. This has been awarded for the hard work and dedication that Logan has put into his role in estimating. In particular over the last six months, it has been a challenging period and he has continued to tirelessly work to prepare complex and challenging tenders for Reitsma.

04.01.2022 Reitsma has partnered with Aboriginal Employment Strategy(AES). AES offers a unique service to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people into careers, and walks along with them during their employment journey to provide advice, mentoring and other specialist supports. We recently hired our first team member through AES of which we look forward to a strong ongoing partnership between AES and Reitsma.

03.01.2022 Great to hand over another automotive project - Volvo Mosman. The all new Volvo Showroom at Mosman received reconfiguration of the facade, facade, internal refurbishment along with workshop upgrades. Reitsma RFM (Refurbishment, Fitout and Maintenance) worked with Sutton Motors and Okeefe Architects on this impressive project.

03.01.2022 The Newcastle RFM team have had a busy schedule for the last couple of months with multiple projects at the The University of Newcastle, Australia. The team have been working across the Callaghan and Newcastle City Campuses to undertake refurbishment of science labs, refurbishment of the Special Needs Centre, fit-out at the Advanced Technology Centre, Bowman carpark upgrades and the Stage 2 Barahineban Dorm room refurbishment which will commence during the Christmas break

03.01.2022 Reitsma has been awarded Hillsong Church, Macquarie Park. Having been engaged as part of a ECI process, it is great to be moving forward with the construction phase. Working with NBRS ARCHITECTURE, it is great to undertake another project for Hillsong Church. Construction to commence on site next month.

03.01.2022 Newcastle RFM ( Refurbishment, Fit-out & Maintenance ) has completed another two new projects for the University of Newcastle. The projects consist of refurbishment of 48 student accommodation rooms across three stories at Barahineban College and new social student lounge / kitchen facility at the Richardson Wing. Well done to the Newcastle office on the completion of these Tertiary Education projects.

02.01.2022 The Newcastle RFM(Refurbishment Fit-out & Maintenance ) team has recently been awarded the external work upgrades to Five Islands School, Borragul. Five Islands School is a NSW Government school that caters for students with moderate/severe intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities from K-12. The RFM team is undertaking access upgrades, external softfall, fencing along with the construction of a shade structure. We look forward to working with NSW Department of Education once more.

02.01.2022 The Sydney RFM ( Refurbishment Fit-out & Maintenance ) team has just secured a second project for Western Sydney Chinese Church. The project at Croydon involves the refurbishment of their existing hall, church, office and amenities areas. We are working with Aibee Architects on this church project. Works are due to commence on site soon.

02.01.2022 Earlier this year we received two additional contracts at Sydney Markets : The fit-out of a large cold storage facility for Tess Fresh along with the construction of a new facade to Building Z which had previously been completed by Reitsma. It is great to see both these projects coming to completion on this prominent site on Parramatta road. We are working with Koturic & Co Architects, Tess Fresh and Sydney Markets Limited on these projects.

02.01.2022 It is great to see that ARB 4x4 Accessories has moved into their brand new retail / workshop facility that was completed late last year. Working with Steve Swaine Project Management and Nordon Jago Architects, the project features Australia’s first installation of Tapered Box Beam technology. The project includes a new showroom, amenities, offices along with ARB corporate image joinery and six bay fitting area workshop. Reitsma also built an adjoining Industrial tenancy as part of the development.

02.01.2022 The project team at Central Coast Grammar School - Erina Heights are making great progress on the new Junior school development. The scaffolding removal to Building 1 has now commenced with the completed facade installation. In the coming weeks landscaping, paving and external works to the upper forecourt will begin to take shape and connect the existing school to the new junior school development. The facade to Building 2 has commenced and the tiered seating is taking shape to Building 3 Grandstand. Great to be working with NBRS ARCHITECTURE and TCB Project Management on this great educational project for the central coast region.

01.01.2022 Reitsma is delighted to announce that we are the preferred head contractor for the new Educational development at Macarthur Anglican School. The $11 Million development will commence in the coming months with Reitsma currently finalising the design in conjunction with the consultants. Reitsma is working with Mayoh Architects Architects and LMG Property on this exciting project.

Working with NBRS Architecture, Midson Management and the Anglican Church Property Trust the project is due to commence on site soon. The project involves the construction of a worship hall, offices, amenities, car park and playground / kids spaces.

01.01.2022 The Newcastle team has just completed the (HASS) School of Humanities and Social Sciences relocation project for the University of Newcastle, Callaghan Campus. The new workspace located at the Behavioural Sciences Building will serve as a new prototype for future HASS spaces throughout the University. The workspace features new breakout spaces, a kitchen, consultation rooms, amenities, large meeting room and plenty of open / touchdown spaces. Another great tertiary project by the Newcastle office working with SHAC Architects and the University of Newcastle.
