If you want to try filler, but something is holding you back, here is some information that you might find helpful: . When filler is used to refresh your face, it doesn’t have to change your appearance. As we get older, we lose volume in our face. With filler, we’re simply placing a bit of volume where you had it in the ...past. . We only add a small, measured amount in any one injection point, so the skin does not get stretched; it gets support where support has been lost to time and gravity. The goal is to keep you looking like yourself, but a little more healthy and plump. . Filler is made from a substance found in your skin’s natural barrier. It helps your skin hold moisture. Interestingly, it’s produced in a lab from bacteria! You have an enzyme in your body that breaks it down naturally over time, so fillers aren’t permanent. . Our latest blog post looks at common causes and what you can do about them. Here's a snapshot: . 1st Culprit: Your skin's natural barrier is impaired. This often results in sensitivity and lack of moisture. The tricky bit is that your skin can have its natural oils and be lacking in water. ... . What to do: To rebalance your skin's moisture levels and repair the barrier, we recommend hydrating serums with Vitamin B and Hyaluronic Acid, followed by a fragrance-free moisturiser. . 2nd Culprit: Your skin's microflora lost its balance. These are the microorganisms living in our skin that protect it from infection and "bad" bacteria. When the microflora loses balance, you're prone to bacteria, fungal infection, acne. Clients with imbalanced microflora sometimes have allergy-like symptoms to certain products. . What to do: The best thing to do is clear the congestion that feeds the bad bacteria.
